I think I'm the only person watching just the anime at this point, so I'm just gonna drop reactions to whatever things I find cool for all y'all manga readers. Please no spoilers.

The Sun Pirates are running interference for Luffy and the Going Sunny's escape from the Big Mom Pirates, but Jinbei left the crew again to make sure they'll escape, please don't Bon Clay or Pedro him ;_;

Episode 877 - Looks like an arc ending

 

It looks like it just ended Totto Land (with a singing opera).

 

Dear lord, Big Mom is an absolute monster. The Straw Hats, Firetanks, Germas and Sun Pirates caused massive damage to multiple Islands, decisively defeated two of three Sweet Generals, beat the shit of a bunch of the top lieutenants, caused massive minion casualties, and still had to run for their lives or die. No one dies in One Piece (P-Pedro ;_;) so I'm assuming the Germas and Sun Pirates do make an escape somehow, but god damn everyone got fucked up coming out of this.

Yeah, I never picked up on One Piece when it became available to me when I was younger.  Now I just have no hopes of ever catching up on anything, which is a shame because I hear deserves all the praise it gets.
