Something involving video production, ideally editing. I've always been interested and dabbled before but never went into it in too much detail. You know I've been desperate for a career change for years but nothing really appealed enough to kick me into action.
Just came to me a few months ago, I've done a bit of reading in what is available in terms of work and study, my plan right now is:
- Get badass PC (done).
- Start making short films and edits in my spare time (begins today!)
- Enrol in a night class (enrolled for August already).
- If I take to it and I'm this motivated by the end of the year, I'll apply for the full-time 2 year TV production course which covers everything - direction, editing, production, sound production, etc. Giving me the best base to find a career at the end of it.
Scary stuff, I might get to the end of the year and decide it's nothing more than a hobby but that's my aim right now. I'm deeply, deeply unhappy with my career.
