DB Super 78 was excellent. Each chapter has me on the edge of my seat. My dumbass actually didn't realize what Vegeta was doing until he landed next to Granolah. Great stuff. Show-ha Shoten #3 was pretty good

Dr. Stone #220 Ayashimon Liking all the other stuff, too, though I don't have much to say about it in particular. The most recent PPPPPP chapter was another misstep in pacing/framing(I forgot who Masashi even was until going back), but the drama and development unfolding between Lucky and Reijiro is really compelling.

Such a damn good game. Making me want to bust it out. I wish I still had my physical copy.

Sakamoto Days #47 was awesome. Really cool plot point underneath and some incredible action panels. Yet again recommending for anyone who hasn't started reading this yet.

Man, I saw your "headline" and I could feel it.

Yeah, I figured cultural difference could be the issue. It's hard to tell. But it's definitely gotten in the way of me liking the manga so far. It's a cool idea and the non-comedy bits are touching, so I wish I could get into it more. But I just find myself kind of lost when it comes to some of the actual comedy. The first chapter wasn't as bad. But this one just had me kind of scratching my head.

I get the feeling Hunter's Guild is in it's way out. We're getting a lot of exposition that feels like mid-series revelations at best, if not straight up endgame. And every time a manga has suddenly ramped up and seemed to jump ahead with no real predication, it's because it wasn't too successful and is just rushing to the end. Same thing happened with Zipman(which was pretty lame by Ch. 4 tbh).

I pretty much mirror what you said with Neru, though I didn't mind the random end as much since the manga's still developing in the early stages. I also checked out Show-ha Shoten and I think I'll give it a few chapters. My only real criticism is that for being a manga about comedy, the comedy isn't that funny for most of the first chapter. Still, I kinda dig the premise and am interested in following the characters, so I'll give it a couple chapters. Unless it's like some weird 2-chapter miniseries or something.

1?) Pokemon Alpha Sapphire (Completed Hoenn Dex) 2) Mega Man X(Legacy Collection) 3) Mega Man X2(Legacy Collection) 4) Metroid Dread (100%) Hell of a game. Really good Super Metroid/Fusion follow-up with a lot of fun exploration and some cool boss fights. Definitely wasn't bothered by the E.M.M.I.'s, but I did have to look up two of the shinespark secrets because I wanted to confirm they were physically possible the way I was trying to do them. Part of me wishes the final boss was a tad harder, and I could honestly go for another 3-5 hours of exploration progress, but I think designing it this way will make it a treat for speedrunners, and even though that's not really my thing, I know how it important it is for that community. Plus, it gives motivation to play through it again even if it's just to bullshit for a few hours like I do with Metroid/Super Metroid every 8 or so months. Story spoiler

Truer words have never been spoken. I love the Warioland games so much.

Yeah, and as much as I could read the daily hijinx stuff for ages, there's a consistent trajectory of character development that necessitates a somewhat finite ending. So yeah, if they can drag it out and be engaging, I definitely won't complain. But I'll take a great story that knows where to end over a Death Note situation any day.

I legitimately didn't think we'd be getting an anime so soon, but I'm beyond excited. I really grew attached to this one and it feels so sentimental and wholesome while being truly engaging. So it'll be awesome to hear it with audio and motion. Also it'll be a lot easier to trick friends into watching the anime over reading the manga

Finally bought this a few days ago. I'm absolutely in love. Everything I could ask for in a modern Metroid game. E.M.M.I. sections start getting annoying by the 5th one, but the checkpoints are forgiving enough that I'm cool with the challenge.
