I feel this so hard

Now that Spy x Family has it's own space Dr. Stone #buzzbomb4mod
-
Yor really has some of the most endearing and entertaining character quirks. That whole chapter is a really great moment for Loid and Yor. The web of misunderstandings and secrets that unfold around that situation is just hilarious. Also, Anelle the GOAT

Daybreak is the spy that's super obvious, right?

That Dodgeball chapter is one of the ones I was thinking about when I was talking about some of the best chapters. But I love when they have the little mini arcs that take place over multiple chapters, like the dog bomber chapters. Also, the extra missions start becoming a lot shorter, which is a shame because they are really fun character development plots. Commencing Dr. Stone hype

I guess since it's airing during this season, I'll post here, but.. I finally finished catching up on Demon Slayer a few weeks ago and am getting ready to go see the movie in theaters

Last night, I decided to order some Spy x Family volumes on a whim to support the manga continuing. All of the volumes are out of stock but expecting more from the site I ordered. I feel like that's a good sign.

That's an excellent chapter. Some of the best chapters are centered around Anya and her drama at school. There's a very specific chapter and panel that's incredible that I'm looking forward to seeing your reaction when the time comes. But you're pretty far off from it at the moment.

I've had no one to gush about Spy x Family to, so I'm looking forward to your catch-up. I'm caught up on all the ones I'm following, so I started reading a bit more of Witch Watch. Pretty amusing gag manga. I'm not sure if it has strong legs to survive on, but it's a pretty breezy read that's got a few legit laughs out of me.

Not sure if any of you know about the Terminal Passage Youtube channel(I kind of feel like birdy might know it), but it's some person/collective/whatever that uploads obscure records usually somewhere in the jazz/funk/prog spectrum, and they're doing an incredible service for what's probably a pretty niche crowd. But I am one of those people it caters to and it's incredible some of the things I found on there. I discovered Cedar Walton's Mobius on there, and it was incredible the whole way through. But "Soho" in particular hit me strong. The intro feels so unassuming, and then the groove that takes over a minute in is just so tasty. That main lick alone is awesome, let alone the soloing that follows up. I always meant to listen to more Pixies. I think I have to find the right avenue to dig into them, because the song of there's that really resonates with me is "Bone Machine", and I don't really find that super indicative of the rest of their music from the bits of dabbling I've done before. I dig the sound of this, though.

I will say that I truly believe the arc you'd be starting with and what's to come gets to the heart of the series, and without getting into spoilers, I feel like the actual stakes of the series' premise become higher. On a much lower scale, some of the recent chapters have left me kind reeling in the same way Attack on Titan would. I do also find that as probably the most critical fan of the series, it's amusing that you're feeling an itch to continue in the manga.

Chapter 84 picks up where the next season should start. Chapter 83 ends exactly where Stone Wars ended.

Sakamoto Days also continues to be a sleeper for me. I always kind of put it down after a few chapters and wonder how much I enjoy it, then when I catch-up on the chapters I missed, I find myself falling more in love over time. It really does a good job of striking the right balance between a gag manga and something a little deeper. Also, some of the more recent chapters have had some wonderfully drawn panels. Anelle, are you still caught up with Dr. Stone?

i tell c is definitely short enough right now that I'd recommend giving it a shot until you're current to make a decision. I still have a chapter or two to catch up on that I may read on this train. Spy x Family may be my favorite manga running right now. The plot is heavily fueled by character development, and the whole thing is endearing as heck. I actually just started reading lately and the catch up was a breeze because I just kept wanting to read more.

Just read it today as well. I dig the art and while the concept is silly, the execution so far is pretty on-point. And they left us on a bit of a cliffhanger for the first chapter, which is usually a good sign in my book. Definitely gonna follow it until it falls flat or I get distracted. I'm still kind of torn on I tell c, but I get the feeling it won't last too long anyway, so I may drop it. Though now that it's starting to dig a bit deeper into the background of the main protagonist, I'm a bit more interested. Also, the new MHA chapters just have me like I also still can not recommend Spy x Family enough. It's great.

I wouldn't quite call Night 2 a shitshow as a whole, but it definitely started on the wrong foot and didn't hold a candle to Night 1.

I'm already expecting Ma to hate like 90% of it

WRESTLEMANIA NIGHT ONE

I'm ahead in the manga, so I'd definitely be fine with that I think it being centralized to MHA and not like the generic anime threads makes it more likely anyone in here will have watched or don't care.

Oh, yeah, that wasn't meant to be directed at you guys as much as it was kind of a natural reaction to the people blowing it out if proportion. People on r/titanfolk are treating it like the final season of Game of Thrones, and like...no lol
-
I thought it was a fine ending. I had decided a long time ago that pretty much no ending was going to be satisfactory. Either he gives an ending that's curbs expectations and is dumb because of how shocking/out of character it is, or he goes with something sort of safe and expected and people get disappointed it didn't happen exactly how they imagined.

[21/03/01] Totally Weekly Gaming Thread
Psycho666Soldier replied to h2ojunkie's topic in Video Games
You do, and Yuffie is necessary if you want to get all the summons/Master Summon materia. If you're not worried about that, then it's just Vincent. In fact, you don't actually have to get Vincent. You just have to beat the boss that allows you to go find Vincent in the basement. Still been playing Alpha Sapphire. I'm like 90 something hours in and I'm the League Champion. I'm finishing Delta Episode to get Rayquaza and then filling out the rest of the Hoenn Pokedex before I probably call it quits. I might fuck around in the Johto region to grind levels for the Pokemon I need to evolve. -
Yeah, it was really enjoyable to have something to look forward to every week no matter what was starting and stopping around it. This last arc has more than made up for some of the staleness over the last year. This last episode was intense in many ways. Here's hoping the movie is a canon completion to the arc
