I thought the movie was a blast. I got even more joy out of it after hearing the theories that it's actually a sequel to Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. I don't know how much the original creator actually intended that, but when the first few previews for the show were coming out, they actually played an arrangement of Pure Imagination, so someone's at least aware Haven't watched the show myself, yet, but my girlfriend actually just binged through it recently and she loves it. So I'll have to give it a shot soon.

Finale

I vouch for the above. Also, between this and the last episode, shit's been really intense. This is the kind of ramp-up I've been dying for since the last canon arc.

Honestly, depending on how long we have to wait until new episodes come out, I may switch to reading the manga. I've already read a couple random chapters and I dig the art. The first 50-60 episodes are great because it's very fast-paced with some really awesome fights and character moments in between. Past that it can be kind of hit or miss depending on how critical you want to be of the show, but there are still a lot of cool moments that make it all pretty worth it. The current arc seems to be going in an awesome direction so far.

Is the manga coming close to an end, or are they pulling a Hunter x Hunter and ending the series before the manga does?

So I'm caught up on Higurashi

I know for a while they were doing a bundle deal on the PSN where you could get both for a comparably cheap price, but I'm not sure if it's still available/available anywhere else.

Haven't been able to play as much this last week, but I've still been putting hours into The Outer Worlds. Now that it's opened up, I've been a lot more engaged. I'm digging the setting, and while it's not really reinventing the wheel anywhere, I still find myself thinking pretty deeply about my decisions and thinking about how I want to handle the various factions. The combat is also a lot more manageable now that I've leveled up and got a solid weapon preference to blow things away with. I did find two Motion Plus attachments for my Wii motes along with Wii Sports Resort at my job and played a few hours of that with my girlfriend. I also went back in time a bit further and played some SSX Tricky.

I like everything about it except for the neck. It doesn't fit the head right. It also didn't seem as bad in the manga.

Always wanted to see A.D. Police. Maybe I should follow your example ?

Episode 5

Finished the first Higurashi series and started the first few episodes of Kai. I may watch Rei finally, but I pretty much plan to finish Kai and then move right onto Gou.

I will never know the glory of One Piece and I am at peace with that.

Literally me

I'm excited for reactions to Bubblegum Crisis 2040. It's not nearly as good as the original OVAs, but I have a lot of nostalgia with that series. It also has one of the most hype anime OPs of all time.
