I don't give a fuck what anyone thinks. I watched the first episode of the Digimon reboot and I was in love.

Jesus, that thing is almost 200.

That's not the Elite one from 360, right? I still think that one is garbage.

Honestly, I just the design looks odd with the alternatives. I can't quite put my finger on it, but something about it looks tacky. I think another color other than white, or making black the dominant color, would be solid. But yeah, ditto on the Xbox thing. That was the very first thing that came to mind, and when you already have one of the best controller designs ever, why alter it so much, especially towards something that has historically been playing catch-up as far as comfortable controllers. Otherwise, my only real concerns when it comes to controller design is comfort and a good d-pad.

Of all the things changing, they didn't fix the most vital thing: Careful setting your controller down, kids.

That shape better have some better grip or something, because the PS4 controller was pretty much perfect. I also concur that it would look much better being all black.

Obviously they owe a lot of that shit to Matt Hardy. But admit it: that Boneyard Match was the shit.

Oh, yeah, don't get me wrong: I loved MGSV. And I do think it was a fairly natural evolution/reaction to the backlash about IV's heavy cinematics. But as a long time fan of the series, I can see how it's very unlike what the series had presented before. But I never felt like Ground Zeroes was a large departure. To me, it's the bridge that makes the leap in MGSV seem smaller.

I'll back up that I feel like Ground Zeroes is the last one I'd consider to not feel like MGS. Maybe it helps that I saw all the gameplay trailers and development news as it was coming out, but to me it felt like a pretty natural evolution of the style, just including a slightly more open-ended element. Phantom Pain? I can definitely see the argument there. But Ground Zeroes, for me, kinda felt like playing MGS2 on steroids.

I had a good laugh about it once it hit me what was going on.

Leave it to a global crisis to make me tune back into WWE

I don't know if I'll ever get around to this venture soon, but I wouldn't mind a resource to come back to when I do.

Yeah, I went to see Distant Worlds(the Final Fantasy orchestra) and it was breathtaking. They're actually coming back to Chicago in October for a FFVII exclusive performance as more hype for the remake.

I dig orchestral versions out of the context of the game. Like seeing an orchestra perform it live or just hearing different interpretations. But I'm rarely into the idea of doing that for the actual game. That said, I've heard the sentiment that Mera'din said, so I'm sure I'll be mostly into it come time for me to play the FFVII Remake.

I saw that last night. It's a work of art.

I thought Cody/MJF was pretty disappointing. Something felt missing for all the build there was. Wasn't feeling Dustin/Hager or Nyla/Statlander. But everything else was rad.

Don't worry, I already knew you'd ask. I'm still making picks, and probably commenting on results. And I can see being conned into watching WrestleMania just because I usually get together with friends. But I'm just kinda over watching the regular product right now.

I hope that's true. I just saw the bracket after you mentioned that, too, and damn that looked stacked. I'd be down for an old-school style tournament of a bunch of quick matches for the first 3/4 of balls to the wall action, then give us some epic semi's and final.

I officially cancelled my WWE Network subscription. I've been the positive, yet skeptical WWE fan for too long, and with a proper Western alternative, I don't see the point anymore. I'm skipping WrestleMania this year and pirating NXT. There are a couple cool things going on at 'Mania so far, and I hope all my boys and girls get what they deserve and have an excellent showing and WWE rights their wrongs. But for now, I'm done tagging along until they get it right with their booking.
