I relate to this so hard. Did you first hear this from Luke Cage? -

As an addendum, I just finished another run of Crack the Skye, and I think I still have underrated it. It's quickly growing on me. -

School has been ridiculous, so I haven't had the chance to play anything. Tis sad. I might try to actually beat Sans in Undertake again this weekend, but I don't think I'll have time. -

Meant to post in the last one, but I had listened to something I had planned to mention, and couldn't remember what it was. My Mastodon kick persisted longer. Was listening to Blood Mountain and Crack the Skye. I severely underrated those albums, particularly Crack the Skye. Just a constantly evolving Mastodon getting musically better with each album. That said, I think I still prefer Blood Mountain. But who knows? Maybe this means I can give The Hunter another run and actually come out liking it? Probably my favorite track from the two albums: Been jamming some El-P also. I never ended up giving Cancer 4 Cure a proper listen because I'd always hear the first track and get a bit uninterested. It was a fine song, just felt like too basic of a "techno" beat to make me feel the rest of the album would be the typical production genius we get from El-P. I did really like "The Full Retard," though, and having now listened to the whole thing...hot damn, that's a really good album. The couple features are handled really well, some thought-provoking lyrics as usual, and the beats are just so damn hot. The song that's stuck with me the most is definitely Drones Over Bklyn: Also listened to a specific track from an old British thrash band called Sabbat. I'm not very big into their stuff as a whole, and I've only heard and owned one album. But that one song is a perpetual classic for me. I first heard it as a Cradle of Filth cover, and it was always one of the few CoF songs I actually liked. It wasn't until I bought the album it was on that I realized it was a cover, and I had to seek the original out. Nothing like some extreme metal talking about The Salem Witch Trials. The hook is infectious, and I absolutely love the sample at the beginning: I've also been going on a big Wu Tang kick since I've been watching An America Saga, but I could post so much from that, so I'll probably save some of the for next week. -
I want that purely for the DAW.

I am not in the know. Share the dirty deets.

Excuse me. Lio Rush album introducing the All Mighty Bobby Lashley was pure gold, and I'll hear nothing else.

I haven't yet watched the new episode, but based on what happens, I'm so excited about the exposition the show is about to dive into. The tournament arc is one of my favorite parts of the manga. Not because it's a tournament and those are always hype for Shonen, but rather it's the first time we get more of a taste of what the story can do when it's a bit more action-oriented. And what's wonderful about it for me is how well it blends the scientific elements with true combat. It's not the last time we get it, but it is the first time it becomes a primary focus.

I will say that ending makes me consider just skipping out on SmackDown and sticking to RAW, NXT and Dynamite. The rest of the show was pretty good. Loved parts of it. But I have zero interest in the WWE Title scene.

I was jamming some of The Alchemist's old albums the other day while on the bus and walking between classes. I never heard much of his stuff before like 2010, so it was pretty dope to see how talented he was back then. Some really awesome beats under some good raps from some surprising features. A lot of Prodigy on these tracks which is always a plus. Speaking of Nas, here's one of my favorites off 1st Infantry: Also been jamming this a couple times for the first time in yeeeeeears: Also listened to the entirety of Eric B. & Rakim's Follow The Leader. Such a classic album. -
I really dig the new OP. MUCH better than the one they just had. I couldn't get into that one at all.

Ohhhh, ok. So it's kind of similar to NaNoWriMo. I meant to ask what exactly Inktober is. My drawing is shite, so I won't participate, but I'll be happy to see what you produce. Great start so far!

Is that the one that's free on the eShop?

That's funny, because Hemispheres is my favorite, and AFTK is probably a close third at worst. Xanadu is actually one of the first non-radio songs I heard from Rush, so that one is a classic that always gets me. It was also the first epic song I listened to on acid, and that was a beautiful journey. -

Had to drive to a town about an hour away, and spent the ride listening to these gems. The full album, of course. Think I listened to that one almost two times the whole way through before I swapped to Moving Pictures. Being the first Rush album I own e and probably their most popular, I had forgotten how damn good that album is, from start to finish. Really love the sound of "Witch Hunt": Also been reliving some of my high school thrash days with Rumpelstiltskin Grinder: Just good, heavy thrash bordering on death metal. They also have a theme called "Criminal Thrash" where most of the lyrical topics are based around a fictional crime organization. -
Ohhhhhh shit! My boy! Even though my mancrush subsided on him a while ago, John Morrison was one of my new favs when I got back into wrestling in 2010. Didn't catch much of his Impact stuff, but I liked what he did as Johnny Mundo in Lucha Underground.

To this day, I'm still surprised they haven't utilized 3.0(Ever-Rising, just in case) more frequently, even in a jobbing capacity. A solid team with some decent charisma. Still need to watch the first half hour(assuming that's where the Lee/Dijakovic match happened), but overall this was another strong show. Riddle/Dain was tight.

The Fiend fucking with the production might be my favorite small detail of WWE right now.

I would love if they came out with a Joy-con that had the d-pad of the Lite, but I guess there's not a lot of economical use in it considering it's supposed to double as a button pad when you use it separately. But there aren't a lot of games where that's necessary.

I think the only new anime I've properly watched this season would be Dr. Stone and Black Clover. I've been watching Demon Slayer, but I'm only like 3 episodes in, so that's obviously not current season stuff. Between the two, I definitely give the nod to Dr. Stone.

I actually saw KRS-One at The Gathering of all places earlier this summer. He was good as I had hoped and better. We have to arrange a piece for my guitar ensemble, and I ultimately chose this to do. But I've been listening to the Undertake OST because of it. Also had a good jam with Parliament's Funkentelechy vs. The Placebo Syndrome. Hands down one of the best funk albums of all time. -
From what I understand, the second hour was only on the Network this week due to the Suits finale.

I'm hoping things like this and Sami playing manager to Shinsuke is a sign of things to come.

WWE OSF Pick 'Em 2019 Season - Stage 1 (aka: The Now-Slightly-Longer Season)
Psycho666Soldier replied to Blackjak's topic in Wrestling
Man, after killing for SummerSlam, I whiffed by not getting my predictions in on time. I was holding of to not spoil the winner of Gable/Shane, only to find out the KOTR final was happening on RAW, not Clash of Champions.
