That's kind of the beauty of it. Both Tsukasa and Senku have their own idealistic views that divide your loyalties, but I think Senku begins proving the heart behind his dreams as the series continues.
-
Things really start changing after Tsukasa's introduction. Adds some much needed tension. I'm really excited to see how these next few chapters play out in animated form.
-
That's a brilliant way to describe him that I wouldn't have thought of

I was not watching regularly during that time. I didn't even know this existed! I was really hoping it would end with a horse of the people just getting up and leaving. Fucking Dixie.

[07/11/19] Weekly What Have You Been Playing?
Psycho666Soldier replied to Vic Boss's topic in Video Games
Minecraft the lady and i got back I to this last week as a way if finding a game we could play together, as we mostly have a bunch of single-player games or competitive/repetitive multiplayer. It's been a couple years since I played, and HOLY SHIT did they add a bunch of content since then. The added structures, biomes and mobs keeps a single map more interesting with less motivation to start something knew once you have a pile of the main resources. Undertale(Genocide Run) This is a hangover from last year and is just me trying to beat Sans. I've gotten so close this time, getting to the very end of his last attack before perishing. It has been endlessly frustrating, but I know I can do it. My time will come soon, and then I can put this game to rest. Gradius :nes: This has mostly been a time killer when I have 30 minutes to spare but don't want to waste it on the above. Great classic game. Hard as fuck. I have barely gotten past the asteroid volcanos without dying. Then it usually falls apart pretty quickly. Final Fantasy IX This is essentially my main project right now. Finally reached Disc 3, which is something I realized I had never done before in my youth. The rest of the game is completely new to me, so that's exciting. I put it down for a bit because I had been catching up on wrestling and guitar-playing, but I'll probably get back into this next week. -

There was a while I was thinking Nero was the Wizard King, but I think it's past that being the likelihood. Especially since he's had so much screentime. Maybe connected to the demon somehow?

On The Librarian:
-
Yeah, the whole show wasn't perfect storyline was. But there was a marked difference in the overall production of the show. Promos cut directly into the camera, a reserved, but notable use of cuss words on commentary, trying new weird angles whether they work or not, and most importantly, a lot less in-ring mic time and more of a focus on the action and the in-ring stories. I do think there was a lot of flat stuff as a result of ongoing angles that need to be worked through, so hopefully starting more fresh angles will alleviate that. It's a start, so we'll see if they can keep the momentum and not derail if things take a minute to really hit home. Oh, and totally agreed on the "no commercial break" thing. Like I said on another forum, they've found a creative way around it this week, but it's already worn thin. I'd much rather just have commercial breaks like normal.
-
Yeah, after the first 30 or so minutes, it started turning into a bit more standard fare, but the first hour went by really quick and the overall production still feels different. Also, no in-ring promos for like the first hour and a half.
-
Yeah, it could fall apart. But it's started great. The match was good, too.
-
Anyone watching RAW? The show definitely feels different so far. -Started with the Falls Count Anywhere match -Big spot where Strowman and Lashley went through the stage setup and caused a bunch of explosions(a bit silly), but then had a pretty realistic, under-produced camera angle covering the fallout. -Corey Graves saying "Holy Shit" on commentary with no bleep
-
Pre-show was pretty fun. Matches were good(especially the opener), and I loved all the Fyre Festival parody segments. But the Librarian bit and the Dark Order segment were a bit rough to sit through.

Ep. 89

This would actually be brilliant. Dunno if it would help ratings, but it would keep me watching.

Paul Heyman and Eric Bischoff to take over WWE TV(hired as executive directors under Vince) https://www.si.com/wrestling/2019/06/27/wwe-paul-heyman-monday-night-raw-eric-bischoff-smackdown-live-vince-mcmahon?__twitter_impression=true&__twitter_impression=true&__twitter_impression=true This....could be a really good thing. I'm a bit cautiously optimistic, especially on the Bischoff side of things. But huge news.

I'd definitely be down for some AEW predictions.
-
Yeah, that's kinda how I take it. Maybe he wanted more backup in trying to make the place great instead of bailing? It's hard to tell, really. But it seems the root of it is he's doing his best to make WWE a great place for wrestling, and he takes all the talk about WWE being shit personally. I guess you can't really blame him considering he's supposed to be the face of WWE as Universal Champion.
-
I mean, it seems like he was directly asked about it. I'm sure there's some bitterness because he wanted Dean to stay, though a lot of that kind of sounded like the typical WWE lip service, so it was probably a mix of him showing some of his bitterness while also not trying to bury the company he works for.
-
A lot of people are giving Rollins shit, but I think his frustration is justified. No matter what you think of WWE writing and booking, the majority of that roster busts their asses to try and make chicken salad out of chicken shit. And they really came through at Stomping Grounds. Perhaps Seth saying it's the best wrestling around is hyperbole, but they definitely have one of, if not the most impressive rosters on paper.

WWE OSF Pick 'Em 2019 Season - Stage 1 (aka: The Now-Slightly-Longer Season)
Psycho666Soldier replied to Blackjak's topic in Wrestling
Legit, not a bad match on the show. Just a few slower ones. That Kofi/Ziggler finish was insane. Actually funny because about 5 minutes before it happened, I was thinking that would be a cool finish somewhere in wrestling's future. Kofi ahead of the curve -

I'll have my guesses in a little bit later. Quick question though: how do the championships work?
