Most likely, yeah, I've heard it's a little more streamlined from some recent previous editions so probably best place to start

d6 is nice and simple, but I wanna try all the funky shaped dice too! I have a couple of ideas, but it really depends on who gets in there first (all of a sudden my work, a discord server and a couple of my friends all want to think about having a game so I've gone from none to 2 many in about a month flat) and how hard the relevant DM wants to go. I'm also a complete beginner so I'm just mulling over basic ideas while I gather more info/see which game gets underway!

Oh man, I love alternate takes/covers! I think my favourite (fairly) recent ones are Status Quo's "Aquostic" album, where they rerecorded a lot of their hits completely acoustically. The best ones are some of the faster songs like Caroline and Down Down, where they substitute the fast rhythm electric guitars with almost zydeco sounds. Really fresh fun take! Original for comparison:

Currently playing a simple wee un-named homebrew thing to help the budding game-designer DM do some home-/idea testing, which uses d6 dice and basically boils down to "AU Scotland Fantasy Pirates". Some of my team at work are hoping to put together a 'real' D&D group though, so I'm hoping to get into that at some point soon!

Last book I read was technically 4: Ursula K. Le Guin - Earthsea: The First Four Books I really enjoyed them! I don't read as much as I want these days but I enjoy it when I can. Next I should get on and read Philip Pullman's The Book of Dust (Part One: La Belle Sauvage), I bought it ages ago but never got round to reading more than the first chunk of it...

Continuing: Dororo Really interesting, less goofy adaptation of a 60-yo manga (though tbf Tezuka could be brutal when he wanted lol) and I'm loving where they're taking it Jojo's Bizarre Adventure: Vento Aureo/Golden Wind IT'S JOJO Karakuri Circus I was an Ushio and Tora fan and this is by the same manga author, it's bombastic dark shounen and just up my street Definitely: Fruits Basket Essentially "Fruits Basket Brotherhood" and the adaptation I never thought I'd see, I will be watching this religiously One Punch Man 2 Little apprehensive at the studio change but I'll watch for sure Sarazanmai Next work by the eclectic director of Utena, Penguindrum, 90s Sailor Moon and Yuri Kuma Arashi, this looks about as mad as the others, lol. I'll be giving it a go Maybe: Kimetsu no Yaiba Concept looks interesting, I'll try the first couple eps at least

I'm 100% stoked for this, so glad it finally got the momentum it needed to go ahead!

I had no idea what Munchkin is but I did a brief google, I think it would count?? I'm super beginner at this nonsense so I dunno. Been playing a nice simple one of a friend's design but hoping to play some actual Dungeons & Dragons at some point!

I have, it's okay but a bit "back and forth" chapter-wise. I preferred Inagaki's other series Eyeshield 21! Looking forward to the anime though.
