And the lobbyists are already circling the waters. Not completely sure how I feel on this. The pay to win shit, definitely, but there's a lot of other shit that they can sneak into a bill like this that will be going to far.
-
You say that, but all I hear is "You should install Origin." and I'm gonna have to stop you right there.
-
That was a decent stretch. July 2018 to March 2019. This will be a couple months longer so not that much worse than we had there.
-
I just posted that one a couple days ago. XD It is pretty good though. I like the tone they went with.
-
Indeed. I couldn't care less about it, but let the players decide if it's "not a good value" for ourselves. XD Though it might be nice if there's an EA game I take an interest in and want to try it but don't actually want to buy.
-
Looks like EA Access is finally coming to PS4.

This is honestly the thing that bugs me most about the recent seasons. It seems like it started happening more and more after what felt like Danerys basically teleporting to Westeros.
-
Could be worse. Probably isn't the worst idea to have a bit of a longer break after this phase anyway with how big of a deal it's been.

He was definitely still hung up on the hammer too. Not the hammer in the physical sense, but it was clear after everything he's lost since he lost the hammer, that internally he felt himself less and less "worthy". Calling the hammer and having it come to him after everything he had been through and how he felt about it was a pretty big deal for him I think. Between that and the talk with his mother I think that's the first REAL healing we've seen for his character in a long time. Thor writing has always been a little clumsy, so I get where people are coming from, but none of it honestly bothered me. His arc in Endgame is probably one of the ones I enjoyed the most. They all were dealing with what happened in different ways. His was just the most physically noticeable. Steve and Natasha both poured themselves into some kind of work to avoid dealing with it as much as possible, Clint going off the deep end Ultimate Hawkeye style, etc.

I personally liked the comment he made to the cops. XD Spoilers are going to get worse now. Directors effectively "lifted" the spoiler ban they asked people to adhere to as of today so news articles full of spoilers are churning out at and even faster rate than before. Seen a few with spoilers in the titles even which is kind of a dick move.
-
Pretty sure the preview for the next episode might have been showing that happen.
-
Don't watch if you haven't seen Endgame. There's a spoiler warning at the beginning but figured I'd say something too just in case.
-
I saw that a couple days ago. Have to admire his determination.

They already do. I play Overwatch with a person who works for an animation studio that specifically does work for the 3D versions of movies. They just had horrifying crunch time for work they did on Endgame. She was MIA for like 2 months. At the end of it, some people apparently stayed for 48 hours straight to finish work on it. This is all after they were never given their yearly merit raises. They finally had a meeting about it this week and were told they were going to "get to it" sometime this month finally (normally done in Jan. ) and that it would not be retroactive.

Yeah, she said it was like 2 trillion neurons that had to be remapped or something like that. Kind of curious how far through she actually got.

I can't remember the specifics. I know he claimed to be part Ultron and part JARVIS, but without whatever corruption Ultron had that turned him against humanity. The mind stone was important in his inception, and he was tied to it, but it must not have been intrinsically necessary for him to continue to function if Shuri was sure she could remove it safely. If they go that direction, I assume it will be revealed that she was nearly done and had mapped his neruon pathways/circuitry/whatever and will be able to ultimately reconstruct him. Possibly with some or complete memory loss, but the core "being" still there so he'll just have to relearn what he needs to which is a task that I'm sure Wanda would be willing to take on and could be a big plot point of the show maybe? There's a number of ways they could work it out. He's been destroyed multiple times in the comics so it's definitely not unheard of to bring him back.

They had one fucking job. Like seriously, the number of people I know who have/like Corgi's because of Ein is fucking STAGGERING. Myself included if I'm being completely honest. You don't fuck with that kind of devotion.

Missed opportunity.

Forgot to post last week, but they've started revealing clans. They're doing 1 each week starting last week with Thin Bloods, and today they revealed the Brujah. Looks like there's only going to be 5 normal clans to start but they'll add more as free DLC down the road like I said before. Speculation is that it's likely that Nosferatu and Malkavian will be left off the starting set from what the first game had because those two change the experience so much. They're doing a short animated video for each as well. When you start as a Thin Blood you pick between one of 3 disciplines specific to them that you will keep even after you choose a clan, and then you'll get two additional disciplines for the clan you pick. The Thin Blood disciplines you pick from are: Chiropteran - Ability to glide and summon a bat swarm Mentalism - Ability to pull objects and people with telekinesis, and levitation Nebulation - Power over mist. Can turn into or shroud yourself in mist and even suffocate people by filling their lungs with mist. These aren't normal disciplines from the table top game (though some are taken from classic disciplines or inspired by them), but the traditional way Thin Bloods work is a bit screwy so it's honestly not a bad decision. For Brujah, the disciplines you're given are Potence (super strength) and Celerity (super speed). It sounds like presence is going to be a more general thing that is worked into the social side of the game though they were really vague talking about it so it's hard to say if that's coming more from a RP perspective or if it's an intended thing that will modify how a Brujah can interact with people innately. Here are the trailers and links to the streams for each for people interested in the first hand info: Thin Blood Brujah They've also started adding unlockables for the game on their website (so far clothing options and decorations for your "house". There are hidden objects on the the pages of the site and stuff like that or you can get people to sign up to get points via a referral link. There's enough stuff I imagine they'll add way to get things unlocked as time goes on though. At least I would hope so. At least it's more interesting than just locking a bunch of shit behind pre-orders (though they have that too. ? ).

Reposting other ones from other forum so I can keep up with my numbers. 1.) My Name is Mayo 2.) Burly Men At Sea 3.) Blackwood Crossing 4.) The Bunker 5.) Tales from the Borderlands 6.) Sherlock Holmes: The Devil's Daughter 7.) The Town of Light 8.) Oxenfree 9.) Kingdom Hearts 3 10.) Anthem 11.) The Council Episodic story game in the vein of Telltale's games only it's what they SHOULD have become. Made by a relatively new, small French developer called Big Bad Wolf Studios. Had actually played the first episode back when it came out on PC but then kind of forgot about it because other things had come out. Bought it on the PS4 for $20 to finally go through the rest. The voice acting is kind of shit, and the graphics are both good and bad at the same time (environments are really cool and characters are detailed, but they nose dive so violently into the uncanny valley that they managed to make said valley deeper. >_> ). The big thing with this game to separate it from something like Telltale's games is that it actually has some solid RPG elements to it. You pick a "class" at the beginning (Politician, Occultist or Detective) and each has skills based around it. You get skill points as you level and can put into any of the different skills from any class, but the ones for the thing you picked cost less points to level up. These skills are used in the environment and in conversations to increase your chances of success and some conversations (called 'Confrontations') are like battles where certain skills will come in handy. Each character also has Vulnerabilities and Immunities to certain skills that you discover through various means as you play the game. There is also some pretty solid puzzles in it akin to classic adventure games and certain skills can help you solve them via providing hints through analysis of puzzle elements and the like. Other skills pertain to more physical pursuits (forcing doors open, picking locks, reaching high shelves where items are hidden or dodging traps and things of that nature) so you have to really choose what you want to invest in. Certain dialogue options or even full conversations can be missed if you don't possess certain skills. Use of skills depending on the difficulty of the check vs. your level in that skill costs a certain number of "effort points" so you have to use them carefully. Items can be found that can restore points, make a use free, reveal immunities and weaknesses during a conversation for a short time or remove status effects. It all plays together very well, and the systems honestly remind me a bit of what I've seen of Vampire: The Masquerade (and probably other table top RPGs) social encounters. Story is relatively interesting. Starts as historical fiction/murder mystery dealing with powerful historic figures and secret societies (game features such characters as George Washigton, Napoleon Bonepart, Manuel Godoy and others) and slowly kind of shifts into a crazy almost supernatural thing that I was not expecting. Was pretty entertaining overall. Many things that happen seem fully avoidable or can turn out drastically different during the game too so I'm hoping a 2nd play through will pay off unlike most other games of this type. Not holding my breath because I've never been overly impressed but if it manages at least as well as Detroit: Become Human, it will be refreshing considering this is the first game made by this developer. Overall I've been pretty impressed with the game. It has short comings, but it stands out impressively for the genre and I look forward to seeing more from the studio.

Paul Bettany is supposed to be in the Scarlet Witch show they're doing (I guess the title for it is apparently "WandaVision" now?) So apparently he is. I'm guessing either Shuri was able close enough to separating him from the stone that she can rebuild him or Wanda starts doing some reality hopping of her own.
