Mom had her second shot on Thursday, she felt fine for most of the day, then felt not so great Friday. Called her this morning and she was doing better, so hopefully that's the worst of it.

I think the Fox deal is too new for that to happen. They could've done reshoots I'm sure, but I don't think they'd go that route just yet.

The theory i'm seeing is that it's a way to show that magic can't bring people back from the dead, which makes some sense but when I think about it, the kid in the commercial wasn't able to get the Yo Magic yogurt open and then he died. Wow, so this was a big one. I loved the Malcolm in the Middle-esque intro, and the shift in tone to more recent comedy was a nice touch. I was kind of hoping in the recap, when they showed the footage of Pietro dying back in AoU that they'd have replaced Pietro in that with the actor playing him now. I also wonder if he's actually Pietro, or if he's just someone SWORD sent in to keep tabs on Wanda, and for some reason she just turned that guy into a version of her brother. He doesn't seem to remember things the way she does (if at all) and is asking a lot of questions. I got a good laugh out of Vision's costume being a mexican wrestler, although it was kind of odd that he talked about fighting crime when he told Wanda he was doing neighborhood watch stuff. It was also pretty crazy seeing Wanda expand the hex, and seeing things change to fit the Westview narrative, although I feel real bad for those agents that got turned into clowns, that's a fate worse than death if you ask me. I was kinda hoping they'd show what happened to Darcy, though. I'm also wondering just who this person Monica is supposed to be taking Jimmy to see. My first thought would be Dr. Strange, as the rumor is that this sort of leads right into that movie, but she makes it sound like he's a scientist or something along those lines. I'm also wondering if Monica's multiple trips in and out of the hex are what are giving her the powers she'll have in the future? Edit: Oh, and what the fuck was up with that ad? Creepy as hell. I'm starting to think the rest will be dark, too.

I saw someone else point this out, and I didn't notice it in episode 5. Look at Wanda's shirt, specifically the pocket. Her pocket flannel is in the shape of an X. Most flannel shirts, as far as I can tell, don't change the pattern for the pocket. This has to be intentional, right?

Just watched Birds of Prey, I liked it more than I thought I would. Definitely erases the shit stain that was the original Suicide Squad. Calling it Birds of Prey is kind of misleading since they aren't really that until near the end. They're in the entire movie, but they don't really come together for a while. They definitely don't make Harley part of it, she's just sort of the vehicle that brings them together.

I don't know about binged per se, but I have watched three seasons of Brockmire in the last month or so. Sort of a dark comedy, not for everyone. But it stars Hank Azaria as a down on his luck baseball broadcaster. Basically he finds out his wife is cheating on him, and he goes on one hell of a bender in response. The rest is his "redemption", so to speak.

Hah, they brought back Pietro, but he's been "recast" as the X-Men movies version of Pietro. I got a good laugh out of Wanda trying to escape the conversation with Vision by rolling credits. Wondering why Monica seems to be upset with Captain Marvel, saw someone wonder if it's because she wasn't there when Monica's mom died? Also, Wanda's fucking scary when she's angry, holy shit.

1) Miles Morales: Spider-Man 2) Astro's Playroom 3) Hitman 3 A great way to end this trilogy of Hitman games. The last level is a bit different than the norm, but I didn't mind it. They made it so, if you stay in the same ecosystem (PS4/PS5, XB1/XSX, PC) you could carry over the levels and progress from the first two games, so you in essence have three Hitman games worth of levels in one game.

That's why i'm still in my current job. Gotta take advantage of that insurance.

Sony did what Nintendo's been doing for a while and provided an "end of year wrap up" for everyone. Here's mine. Basically, I played 25 games, with Rock Band 4, Spelunky 2, and Last of Us Part II being the top three, in order. My top genre is action adventure. I played about 432 hours, with 10 of those being online, with a total of 119 days, mostly on Sunday. I earned 62 trophies: 2 gold, 10 silver, 50 bronze. On PS5, I've played a whopping 3 hours, with 2 of those being just in Miles Morales, gaining a whopping 30 PS5 trophies. I only downloaded 3 PS+ games, and the game I played the most online is Overwatch, with 8 hours.

Just saw a news story earlier that CVS stores in the area will have vaccines on the 11th, gonna try and get in on that.
