Self isolation, social distancing, sheltering in place, whatever else you call it
MT replied to dr. b's topic in General Insanity
Asked my senior manager the other day if he knew of any timetable for us to get it, but he hadn't heard anything. Said something about them switching to an age based system, which on some degree I understand, but we're face to face with people every day, we should be a relatively high priority (outside of health workers and the elderly, of course), so I have no clue when I'll be getting mine. I just want this to be over already, I wonder if I can just schedule an appointment and get one that way. -

That sounds awful. Glad it wasn't anything worse, though. -
Here's the notes I took from Google's gaming keynote at GDC. The presentation was all about their new gaming hardware (?), called Stadia.

I bet the coward Dave Honor won't do it.

She was, she was the daughter of Carol's friend from the Air Force.

So we finally get some answers. According to those cops, the town of Westview doesn't exist, but i'm not clear on if they mean it never existed, or that from what they can tell it's like it didn't (because everyone's gone). I'm assuming the first, since they probably weren't able to go inside. Side note, holy shit was that intro intense, with people coming back from the Snap. I don't think we've seen that part in any of the movies, outside of the tiny bit in Spider-Man: Far From Home. But yeah, it was cool to see Darcy and Jimmy Woo again, i'm wondering if anyone else will be making an appearance at some point. So it seems like Wanda is fully in control of what happens in Westview, and maybe she's done something to help her forget it until she's reminded of it? I really wish they had shown what happened to the agent crawling in the sewers when Wanda "rewound" that moment. I'm also kinda curious why more of those drones weren't found all around Westview, considering how many SWORD sent in.

Maybe he had some friends in high places? I dunno. I can see where you're coming from, and as someone who doesn't watch ROH, I had no idea what direction they were trying to go in. I kind of put Danhausen in a similar spot as Warhorse, although i'm not really getting the Warhorse gimmick all that much.

I can't say i've watched Ring of Honor with any regularity, but I may have to give it a shot, as I am now a fanhausen of this guy (18:13 if it doesn't go right there).

The governor lifted the stay at home order that he put in place on the 4th of December, so now restaurants can have outdoor seating again. Still have no idea when I'm getting my first shot, my mom should have her second in a week or so. She mentioned not feeling too well the day after getting the first, which I think is normal, but she seems fine now. -
I read an article about the episode a little bit ago that has me wondering. When Agnes and Herb are trying to tell Vision about what's going on, doesn't that take place while Wanda is fuming with Geraldine in the house? Maybe she sort of lost concentration in keeping the illusion alive, and that's why Herb and Agnes were finally able to try and say something to Vision.

I never finished the last season, but I don't think SWORD has officially been in anything outside of comics before this show.

It's one a week, dude ?

Looks like Wanda's controlling that little area they're in, but it's got SWORD oversight. Not sure if she's there of her own free will or not, though. I get the feeling she is, only because she keeps rewinding to try and fix things. I think the other people in the town are SWORD agents as well. It would make sense, having someone keeping an eye on her on the inside. I was really hoping the commercial would be about Tahiti instead of Hydra Soak, but I guess that wouldn't have made as much sense because there's no real reason Wanda should know about Tahiti and what happened with Coulson.

It has Steam achievements ?

I started a new game of Hades and haven't gotten to the boss of the third area yet, I think I'm on my 10th or so try this time. Last time through I had God mode on, and it's definitely harder now.

I could never beat that game even with the Konami code

Saw that Shinsuke may be a face now, they gave him the old music back and are referring him to the King of Strong Style again. Too bad there won't be any crowds to sing along with it now.

I tried an episode of the US version/remake and it didn't do anything for me. I was never able to get into The Office either, maybe that's why.

I'm thinking Wanda tried to get away from things, so she hid out in some town, got freaked out by something, and the entire town is now stuck in some sort of sitcom world, but Wanda has no idea she's doing it. Someone also said that the toy helicopter was supposed to be a real helicopter that crashed, and Monica Rambeau (the black woman in the second episode) was piloting it, and now she's stuck in Wanda's world too. Saw that theory on reddit and I think it's pretty plausible.

That's because there was around 7 minutes of credits. Saw someone say that at some point in Age of Ultron, Wanda said her and Pietro watched a lot of Nick at Night, which if true would make sense given how early sitcom-y everything was.
