Self isolation, social distancing, sheltering in place, whatever else you call it
MT replied to dr. b's topic in General Insanity
The city where my FedEx station is located just made it mandatory to wear a mask while outside of the house, so they finally handed us a mask (a cheap, one day use type, not sure if we'll get better ones in the future) to use. I wonder if that means we'll have to wear them even if we're not currently working in that city or not. I would imagine not. -
You should check out the missing stuff on YouTube, there's a bunch of animatronic/cinematic stuff that never made it into the game. An entire chapter based on Eli and what happened with him after the "main game". It's still not complete, but it is interesting to see the rest.

Maria Kanellis, Mike Chioda, Mike Kanellis, No Way Jose, Primo, Erick Rowan, Sarah Logan, and Zack Ryder are now gone as well. As for non-wrestlers, Billy Kidman, Dave Finlay, Lance Storm, Mike Rotunda, Pat Buck, Sarah Stock, Scott Armstrong, Shane Helms, and Shawn Daivari are gone. I've heard Lance Storm closed his wrestling school when he got the WWE job, too. I'm also hearing that WWE still stands to make a profit this year, so the cuts aren't really all that necessary. This is incredibly upsetting. Edit: Rusev's gone now too.

Huge cuts coming soon, apparently will be sent out by text message. -_- Edit: The first round has already started

It's the best playing Metal Gear Solid by far, but it's not great as a Metal Gear Solid game.

1) (NES) Strider 2) (NES) Metroid 3) (NES) Super Mario Bros. Special 4) Black Mesa 5) Doom: Eternal Man, what a let down. I thought I wanted more Doom 2016 but apparently I was wrong? I think I had fun maybe two or three times the entire game. And that last boss fight, ugh. Beat it and immediately uninstalled it and the Bethesda launcher. I really thought i'd like this more than I did.

We have a similar thing at FedEx, but at least when we do our jobs we're in FedEx vehicles, so it's more often than not ok. -

My whole state is in a "stay at home" order, and all non-essential businesses are closed. Lucky for me (or unlucky depending on how you look at it) my job is one of the "essential" ones, so i'm still out every day, living life like normal. All restaurants are only allowed to do takeout, which is kind of interesting. Honestly my life hasn't changed all that much, so it's not really affecting me all that much. Outside of washing my hands way more often and being a little more careful about what I touch around home, that's really all i've needed to do differently. -
"A quick update on backward compatibility – With all of the amazing games in PS4’s catalog, we’ve devoted significant efforts to enable our fans to play their favorites on PS5. We believe that the overwhelming majority of the 4,000+ PS4 titles will be playable on PS5. We’re expecting backward compatible titles will run at a boosted frequency on PS5 so that they can benefit from higher or more stable frame rates and potentially higher resolutions. We’re currently evaluating games on a title-by-title basis to spot any issues that need adjustment from the original software developers. In his presentation, Mark Cerny provided a snapshot into the Top 100 most-played PS4 titles, demonstrating how well our backward compatibility efforts are going. We have already tested hundreds of titles and are preparing to test thousands more as we move toward launch. We will provide updates on backward compatibility, along with much more PS5 news, in the months ahead. Stay tuned!" Source

1) (NES) Strider 2) (NES) Metroid 3) (NES) Super Mario Bros. Special 4) Black Mesa A really fantastic remake of the first Half-Life game done in the Half-Life 2 engine. It's been in the works for a long time and finally got a 1.0 release a few weeks ago. The team did a great job with everything, and they even extended the Xen section. I remember not liking it in the original game, but they made this version way bigger/longer. Too much longer, if you ask me. By a certain point I just turned on god mode to get through it as it seemed to go on FOREVER. The final boss battle was changed up too, and for the better if I remember right.
