Super Mario Bros Wonder looks like it'll be super fun.

I still haven't watched Morbius, I wonder if I should even bother. Maybe i'll wait for a Rifftrax version or something.

I can't wait for the inevitable fast food tie in, so they can have some sort of "craving" pun.

Russell Crowe needs a better agent to work out these Marvel deals because holy shit is he wasted in these roles he's been in.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent I'm not sure what to think about this movie. I didn't hate it, didn't love it. Maybe a high 6/low 7 out of 10.

1) Star Wars: Jedi - Fallen Order 2) Spelunky (Olmec Run) 3) The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild 4) (NES) The Legend of Zelda 5) The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom What a fantastic game. It knocks Breath of the Wild down a peg on my top Zelda games list (Link to the Past is still my favorite), and improves on the first game in just about every way. It feels like there's so much to do, even outside of the main quest. Lots of side quests, lots of people to meet. It was so wonderful going back to the same version of Hyrule (which I don't think has really been done outside of LttP/Link Between Worlds), seeing how things have changed, and reconnecting with a ton of characters from the last game. You actually get to see the aftermath of helping out each of the regions instead of things just somewhat changing. The sky is a bit sparse from what I was expecting, but they more than make up for it by practically having the inverse of the entire overworld hiding just below the surface: mountain ranges become valleys, and vice versa. There's a moment in the story about 2/3 of the way through that blew my mind. My only real complaint is (and this is 100% a me thing) I thought I was getting close to the end way before I actually was, so I got a bit impatient near the end. Even with that tiny complaint, the game is well worth it if you enjoyed Breath of the Wild. I could keep going but it's late and my partner is sleeping not far behind me. If you liked the last game, you should love this one.

1) Star Wars: Jedi - Fallen Order 2) Spelunky (Olmec Run) 3) The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild 4) (NES) The Legend of Zelda Been playing through some Zelda games in preparation for Tears of the Kingdom next week. I started playing Twilight Princess again, but I don't know if i'm invested enough to go through that entire game in a little over a week. Started Oracle of Ages on the GBC, and Minish Cap on the GBA (don't think i'll finish those, either). Might play through Link to the Past, but who knows.

Same, this was a good teaser. I liked the shots of what looked like more dance numbers with Kamala's fellow Muslims, I'm a sucker for those, lol.

The Super Mario Bros Movie I liked it quite a bit. Went into it expecting a kids movie, which it totally was. There were lots of easter eggs, and I'm sure I missed a bunch. Its an entertaining hour and a half. Jack Black was the best out of all the voice actors. Chris Pratt I didn't mind nearly as much as I thought I would, oddly enough Seth Rogen as DK was my least favorite. I went into it thinking he was perfect, but not afterwards.

There was one shot in this that almost made it look like Miguel's a vampire, but that may have just been a camera angle?

Sounds like a good day to me, happy birthday!

Sat in the queue for about half an hour, played for about 20 minutes before getting booted. Ran fine for a bit, then would slow for a bit, and then ran fine, etc. I closed everything but the game and it still slowed down. I don't know if it's this specific error I got or if it's most errors, but I apparently had to exit the game and re-queue, which fuck that. I'll play it again later. Gonna try lowering the resolution next time I get in and see if it helps.

Lance Reddick, star of John Wick and Destiny passes away at age 60. This one really stings, he was amazing in Destiny, and one of the last voice actors who stuck around from the first game. I believe he really loved and played the game, too.

Waiting for the open beta next weekend, don't feel like pre-ordering.

6 Underground Typical Michael Bay action movie, starring Ryan Reynolds. Enjoyable action, if a lot over the top. Probably a 7/10.

1) Star Wars: Jedi - Fallen Order 2) Spelunky (Olmec Run) Been watching a streamer play some Spelunky 2 got me back into that game, but at some point I wanted to give the first game a try again and see how different it was. Had a real shitty run to start off with, but was able to turn it around in the end. Playing the game again for the first time in a while was tough, I could usually get pretty far, have a decent run, and then some stupid thing would happen and kill me (as is this genre's prerogative). Guess the way to go is to start off bad and get lucky instead of start off great.

Just watched the first episode of this last night, and it was pretty good. Natasha Lyonne is the main character who can tell when people are lying to her. One of her friends/coworkers gets killed and she's trying to figure it out, amongst other things. It's got Adrian Brody and Benjamin Bratt in it as well, and I think the entire series is directed by Rian Johnson, the guy that made Knives Out and did The Last Jedi.
