the entire cast will be doing voice acting in it. Including Matt, hell if they are being canon he will be every voice the cast isn't doing

Several of us are playing it and it deserves it's own topic cause jesus christ this game. It's soooo rare for spiritual successors to get it right these days and OW didn't just get it right, it completely overshadowed the game that inspired it and actually evolved the gameplay for the first time since FO3 decided to go first person instead of isometric. Companions matter, skill choices are always rewarding, dialogue are entertaining, enemies are cool af, environments colorful and varied, the list goes on. If you arent playing it, you should be. If you are, complete Parvati's companion quest, she is everything right about this game's writing.

The hosts were brought back in with a suspension rather than firing and his suspension was brought back down to appropriate levels. He DID break the rules, he himself even admitted it and the hosts let him by not interrupting it so they deserved punishment too. The problem was the EXTENT of the punishment and the statement made in the taiwanese newspaper clearly marking it as being done because he supported Honk Kong over China. Blizz has a looong way to go to get off my Boycott list, but I am also trying to keep a level head here and give credit where it is due, they could've pulled what every other publisher would've done and not even acknowledged their mistake and try to sweep it under the rug. Instead the prez got up in front of a giant crowd at the one time of year when the absolute most eyes are on them and said "we fucked up" that means something.

This really stresses my Blizzard Boycott if I am honest, cause all of this looks cool AF. If they continue with the loot box monetization though, it's a hard pass. That one thing really holds this game back "wotked hard for that Witch Mercy Skin" my white ass. You mean all the MONEY they poured in to get it.

I know a lot of people are dismissing the apology, but the fact that he stood up in front a crowd in person to make it counts for something. Not enough, but something. The most accurate thing he said was that actions count for more than words. I am waiting to see if they follow through on that. Blizzard is notorious AF about dropping features they initially pushed hard before they release a game. So, I will wait to see what they talk about during the release year.

I am not even gonna look at anything beyond the trailer for 2 reasons: 1. Blizz still hasn't redeemed itself enough to get off my blacklist. Though the apology at the beginning of the opening ceremony was a good start. 2. Knowing it will be years before it's released means that most of what they probably won't even make it into the game.

That said... Parvati is a treasure.

I am taking my playthrough Slow AF and enjoying all the story. Made a Persuasive mother fucker for my first playthrough (100 Persuation and 50+ lie and Intimidate). I could sell Ice to an eskimo and make a corporate shill give employees raises (legit actually did this second one in game)

Outer Worlds is soooooo good. It's like fallout New vegas, but without the bugs and has better graphics. Obsidian Over delivered and I love it.

I literally haven't heard a damn thing about it for 3 years... Thought it was long abandoned.

That was kinda my point... This new series doesn't come from a good place and will be bad. Just like the newest ghost busters.

From the reviews I am seeing the main story is about 20 hours with a metric fuck ton of replayability. So basically a better fallout game.
