I also hated the Kong thing, buuuuut, Devil's Advocate, this is their one chance to suck in WWE/TNA fans. WWE fan - "Oh this Brandi Rhodes lassy does the stuff that I like Stephanie McMahon doing" TNA fan - "Oh they are showing respect to Kong like TNA did but WWE didn't, I am now engaged" Maybe overthinking it, but I was okay with that ONE instance. Plus plus plus Brandi is always a chickenshit heel manager for Cody anyway so it fit her kayfabe ethos. Agree about the Joshi stuff, needed a bit more of a reason why everyone was an individual. All melded together and I actively try to enjoy women's wrestling more than men's.

The NJPW esque post match interviews were great. Conversely, I love that they are not over producing things, but I hope they get a consistent voice for the weekly show. The mix of kayfabe and shoot questions was fine, but mixing traditional wrestling lingo and WWE speak (Britt Baker constantly saying "superstars" for one) was jarring. Plus as many have pointed out, the Casino Royale may have been good to get all the boys a few moments but it did NOT advertise what the actual show was all about to prospective buyers. Worked well for All In, was okay for DON, but they need a much stronger lead-in for All Out. Cody v Dustin was must see, Omega v Jericho was mostly must see, Moxley was must see, the tags were good, everything else was okay. I was thoroughly entertained. I would have paid £15 but ITV made it ridiculously hard to do so and to enjoy not live, so I'll buy a few tshirts instead to support.

Detective Pikachu Was better than I expected. A solid... 8? Maybe less? I'd be happy to rewatch it, which is rare for me nowadays.

It was absolutely the ref's fault. Apparently he got no heat for it though, but Vince did pull him aside backstage at Raw and told him he'd be fined. Another ref got fined for some kind of botch in the Smackdown tag match as well.

Have you ever had a moment in your life, natural disaster or family event or whatever, where you've actually went to a pub to relax and engage with the general public? I've had a few, most notably Winter 2017 where "my local" was just across from my work and we all got sent 'home' early, the local barman gave us free drinks and all the able-bodied men scoured the main Street looking for cars to push out of the snow. It's the closest I've ever felt to 'community' and I had hoped to exchange similar tales.

I plan on doing this properly, in a big way. And I'm eager to share here. My memory fails me at times, but I have been attending concerts for 18 years and at my peak I went to 4 a week. I askes myself, "Can I list 100 artists I have seen live?" and I did so, easily. I now aim to chronologically list everyone I can remember seeing. There are few on my "to see" list left. Spice Girls I am finally seeing in two months. Tina Turner has stopped touring. NIN feels like a cop out since Trent quit a few times. That's seriously about it. Live music is the fucking bomb. Cinema helps me escape a little while. Sports are good too. But only live music gives you THAT escape. Only three days ago I saw a local ska band celebrate the ten year ( a DECADE of local music ) anniversary pf their first album. Trombone player decided to stage dive into a crowd of.... dozens. Gave us all free CDs after. Live. Goddamn. Music.

Am gonna watch NXT for an hour just now, sleep for 10 gets me to noon, get outside, G1 5-7pm, dinner, HOF 9-11, Mania 11-5.30, sleep, shift starts at 1am. Gawd I wish I had the day off!

Sorry, I don't feel it needs quantified. Five randomly decided he knew the equations to get "back" to present time, even though he had been time travelling for what? Five decades? But then once he got back in the "right" time he could afford a holiday"back" into the future to work for the company and affect things in the past only to then insert himself back into OUR present instead of further back into the past with the knowledge he already had of how our heroes were going to react to Father's death.... No. I'm not going to get into it. The show is ABSOLUTELY FINE if you don't get into it too deep. Just agree with me here or present YOUR canonical thesis on how the time travel "works".
