Jaws, but I feel like a cheat picking it as I know how difficult the shot was and how much the finished product isn't necessarily what he envisaged. But acting, memorable scenes, using the camera to tell a story and not just record what is happening, THAT is the standout movie to me.

Your rank resets every season btw and you need to play ten games in a playlist to get a new rank. Should do one and find out what rank it gives you. The extra modes (Rumble, Hoops, Snow Day and Dropzone) are all ranked now and easier to level up than the main Soccar.

I aim to visit New York *properly* within 3-5 years. If I can tag on a cheap flight over to Austin as well I will for sure

I like the new name, sounds smooth. Been back to a Spurs game since I left? I will be disappointed if your house isn't adorned with flags and posters of the mighty Austin Spurs by now.

Sabrina was amazing. I was so hype when we got that holiday special episode too. Honestly, I love both versions of the show. Unsure if I want to check out Riverdale. I know it's the same universe but I don't want it to taint my Sabrina vibes. Mindhunter was also great. I am currently having an internal struggle over the McCann documentary. I don't think I want to contribute to the ongoing sensationalism of it all, but at the same time, if the McCann parents hate it then I kinda want to watch it.

We need to arrange a way to watch the Broly movie together with a chat open

A very well-shot movie that is basically an amalgamation of several movies you've already seen before. I don't regret watching it, but if you haven't seen it I would say, spend the time watching something else instead.

Comic Book Movie Mini Tournament - Day 2
Garlic Junior replied to Deimos's topic in Tournaments & Games
Dr Strange was probably the better film on first viewing. I find it incredible how they managed to make the fantastic elements work. But what film would I be more inclined to watch again today? Batman Begins, easily. I thought this was Civil War v Black Panther which would have been insane - the first movie that Marvel film fans felt we could REALLY point to as an example of just a good movie vs the first movie the rest of the world started sniffing around on their own accord. But now I see it's the First Avenger, I'll pick Black Panther. Infinity War. Only easy choice here. I have a lot of time for Ant Man but there was a lot of dumb in that movie. Fuck you. Fuck. You. FUCK. I think Logan might be the better movie but I love Ragnarok on a more personal level. Old Man Logan isn't a comic I'm super keen on, but I adore Thor the most and adored World War Hulk/Planet Hulk and that's basically what this movie is. Ironically, nothing like the Ragnarok comics lol Fairly easy. X-Men was iconic. Everything between X2 and First Class was bollocks. I can see the merit in both, but Kick Ass was just awesome and Sin City never appealed to me really. Not overly keen on both, but seeing THAT SCENE in Murrica was a strong memory. Wonder Woman, easily. This tournament is gonna get BRUTAL. -
I'm something like a third of the way through Dance With Dragons. Finding it better than Feast For Crows so far tbh. I basically powered through them in one sweep but stopped just before coming to America, so all the books have kinda blended together a bit.

1) I'd happily be a "UK timezone" mod for you guys. 2) The way I see it, this place is in essence going to be the type of place where you read a topic, you write your reply, and then you read your own reply a few times before posting it. Having a buffer between typing and hitting Reply will probably be all that it takes to avoid any toxicity. We're all adults, and hopefully the people we talk to every day on Discord anyway will be signing up so we all still more or less know each other by now anyway. Positivity party
