I think S2 suffers from being short, so they spend half of it wrapping up S1. But objectively speaking S1 gets like a 7/10 and S2 9/10 from critics etc. Personally I preferred the "past" story in S1 over everything else. Have you read into the wild theories that:

He's a really really smart and funny guy. If you enjoyed the film I'd recommend checking out some of his interviews around it, especially if Thomasin McKenzie is there too. Speaking of, Leave No Trace was a phenomenal film also with Thomasin playing a different but just as difficult role. She's gonna go far if she keeps getting great roles. Just hope she doesn't get typecast as "kooky girl with the foreign accent".

Yeah I wasn't meaning in a "possible plot point" manner, just in a "nod to the comics fans" way. If it was intentional, the acting was spot on.

Not made any resolutions as such, but I had been saying for weeks that I wanted to set up OBS over the Christmas break in order to stream retro games in the new year. Christmas came and went and I didn't do it. I pencilled it into my diary for every day since, then shifted it to the next, then the next, then the next. Anyway, finally sorted it out yesterday so feelsgoodman. But January is usually a write-off for me. New Year resolutions start in Feb/March.
