Okay I'm totally down for My Dress-Up Darling. I think the animation is the same as Wonder Egg but I'm so much loving the story already. Especially for someone who didn't learn how to sew from a class or anything and mostly self taught myself for my cosplay and SCA stuff. I nearly teared up in a couple spots.

So slightly less excited about Saiyuki: RELOAD ZEROIN, it's basically a reboot of ZERO but I can tell it's different in a ways. So I'm wondering if they'll actually add some details in this one. Orient looks pretty good from first ep and Tokyo Ward 24. Might add those to my list.

Pretty sure they said "fuck it" and rolled with a lot of stuff. Like the bs at the end talking with the Analyst.

Saw it today. Was preeeeeetty much what I was expecting to play out. Had a few chuckles to the nods of previous movies they did but overall it was OK. There's a bit at the end of the credits that's cute. But otherwise. Just about as Meh as the trilogy was.

I didn't laugh my ass off, I cringed and squirmed my ass off with a straight face. I got maybe a small giggle from the glimpse we get in the first episode but I def could've done without seeing the whole number. But again I get why they did it since it takes place during Christmas and honestly they gave us a pretty big reveal with Spiderman NWH post creds so I get why they went with something light and fluffy for the holiday mood. That could've been achieved in other ways tho I think. But whatevs if anyone else here enjoyed it, take what little laughs you can take nowadays so for real no judgement here on ya.

Happy Happy all. Last night was holiday cocktails, nachos, and a couple holiday movies. Currently at the folks place, doing laundry, watched Freaky and currently Ron Goes Wrong with Dad, had his breakfast casserole experiment. Gifts: Folks: Gift cards for Half Price Books, Bed Bath and Beyond, Joannes and 2 faux fur rugs for my eventing glamping. Friends: Etsy gift card, Hand made pomegranate pin from my secret santa (Reference to Lore Olympus), Apple Gift card, Bottle of Blackberry mead, Bottle of Honey Wine with Hops, Crafty Fox T-shirt from Tee Turtle, 2 Vodka infuser bottles with specific spices to infuse with vodka. home made vanilla, embroidery craft, a type of painting project to share with 1 pair of friends kids. As for what I gave, that list is significantly longer as I like to spoil my friends a lot. So I won't drabble on with that.

Taking out my love of the anime fandom aside and viewing it as something on it's own or as someone who's never watched the anime like Garlic and a few of my friends. It is a fairly decent show. Gives you a lot of Firefly vibes, great chemistry between the actors and their characters. Well done in that sense. It is definitely a better live action adaptation for an anime, whether done American or Japanese, that I have seen in awhile.

So as if we weren't short handed already. This holiday week has been fucking nuts and we're stretched even more thin because my front end manager tested Positive for Covid Wed Morning. We've also had a hit in our Meat dept and Bakery in this past week but i wasn't too worried since i hardly have any contact with those dept. My manager not so much. We had a shift together Monday, he started feeling symptoms on Tues and had a fever of 103 by wed morning when he was tested. So i was able to squeeze in a rapid test later Wed night after work. (I have had no symptoms since monday but i wanna see my folks tomorrow so better safe than sorry.) Thankfully i came up negative and i know the nose teat is only a few second but FUCK it's so uncomfortable!!!

At first I was a little sad that there wasn't going to be a lot for me to watch this season but that's okay because of what I saw got added in recently to the lineup. Totally makes up for it. I really can't say anything on that since i've never watched Andrew Garfield's AS version. At the time i was really burnt out from so many movies getting a revamp (i was also a bit biased for Toby's Spidey) and when i heard poor reviews on it, i never fept the need to watch them. Don't have anything against Andrew just......didn't wanna. ?

Duuuuuude saw it last night but between when i got home, passing out for like 3 hours before work and prepping for weekend plans. I have little interest in the Mobius movie but after seeing that and the Spiderman references it makes in the trailer. I'm curious to the direction that movie will take.
