    Fall Season '23

Finishing the last ep of Good Night World. It started out well enough but holy fuck shit goes nuts come ep 7-8. And just goes full throttle of (as Nelle put it) "we're doing this? Kay we're doing this". I feel like they tried to cram a lot of shit of the story into those 12 eps and........meh? Def some inconsistency there. ?

    Fall Season '23

A couple of my friends who I talk series with asked me if I was watching Frieren since they've been liking it. They said it does pick up from the slowness I couldn't get through so I will probably give it more of a watch later down the line.

    Fall Season '23

*A wild Nelle enters the feild!* I haven't gotten around to watch Undead/Unluck yet. So far been playing catchup with stuff along with my list for Fall Season right now. It may end up being an off season watch since it's on Hulu. Nelle right now you really ain't missing much with Shield Hero. And the Frieren one i tried but it is too slow paced in the beginning to where i can't focus on it. Nice world building and good animation but just can't atm. I still need to watch ep 3 of Migi/Dali but right now it's just enough weird and curious to keep me in.

Migi to Dali is definitely gonna be a weird anime. The way the twins set up stuff on that old couple is making me super curious of what the big picture is going to be in the long run Kamonohashi Ron is basically another spin of the Sherlock Holmes/Watson or "Quirky super intelligent cop mystery" trope. But seeing that twist at the end is got me intrigued of how this quirk will play out. So I'm gonna give this one a couple eps more. Shield Hero did a nice recap of "here's the sitch and what we're doing now" Not surprised at the route it's taking now but hope it's at least a little better than last season was. And everything else that's aired so far on my list other than Dr. Stone yet has made me squee.

Cowboy Bebop (Live Action TV Show)

Was I the only one knowing that going into this show? When they first announced the cast and I kinda recognized him I IMDB'd him and found that out. I really liked how he portrayed Jet. And fucking hated what the director pulled on Fay and Julia. They were both such strong characters in their own way and his calls on the changes in their story and personalities pissed me off so much. The only takeaway I can do with this show is I hope that it gets new fans from the LA into seeing the source material. It had great possibility in being a great show but Netflix just makes shitty calls.

    Marvel Studio's Loki (Disney+ 2021)

Absolutely loved how this started. Ke Huy is just so freaking delightful and I love everything he's brought into OB.

    Summer Season '23

Netflix has ep 9 for Zom 100 and I'm assuming Hulu does too. I'm hoping they don't keep up with the breaks in between eps because it's LITERALLY 3 EPS LEFT. Especially now that we have a Dark Akira variant here it seems. Ending of HoriMiya was adorable and the after credits stuff made me laugh so hard. As for Bungo Dogs. S6, gonna be IN THE FUUUUUTUUUUUUUREEEEEE OOOOOOOOOOO! (I mean it would legit not surprise me if it's heading in that direction now after the post credit bit with new God Mod Baddie since we now have a weapon that basically defies time and space here).

    Summer Season '23

Yup Bungo ends this week. Andost everything else that isn't carrying over into Fall Season is wrapping up with at least 2 more eps between this week and next week. I feel a liiiiiittle called out with ep 8 of Zom:100

    Fall Season '23

That's how i kinda feel about U/U. The concept of the story -sounds- like it might be good. But watching the trailers gives me meh feelings. Like yea you have initial wth factor but i feel like it'd be short lived. I just rewatched FLCL: Alternative and Progressive. A lot of it will always confuse tf outta me from the symbolism but the jist i've always gotten is Haruko always used the feelings of blooming adolescence to more or less track down her unrequited love from the first FLCL. Progressive probs could have not been made honestly and i'm not looking forward to there being 3D for Grunge (which takes place after Alternative) but maybe it won't be shit quality.

    Summer Season '23

I'm assuming there was reasons for it. BUT FINALLY A NEW EP OF JUJUTSU KAISEN. I know i've spouted my hatred for recap eps before. I still hates them. Also not sure what was up with only getting a new ep of Zom 100 off and on the last few weeks. I'm hoping it doesn't keep that up because we're getting to a good point in story here. Horimiya still fucking wholesome. Most of the other new stuff i'm following is still good too.

    Last Movie Watched

I mean true stories are one of the last resorts for movies since there hasn't been anything original out. But that's my thoughts on those since, like much of anything that gets a film adaptation, "Based on" is a very loose term. I watched Game Night on Hulu since i've seen a few friends speak good things on it. And holy crap it was more fun and insane than i was expecting it for. 8/10 for sure.

    A wild Rulk update.

My condolences to you and fam on your sister and hope your dad's health goes on the up from here. Many congrats on everything else. I'm glad that there's been some good to balance the rough half of the year and hope it continues to be on the up and up. Good to hear from ya and hope things kinda settle enough to hear more updates.

It is all 1 season with what hints at a possibility for a 3rd season if Netflix so chooses.

    Summer Season '23

Okay thank you, it wasn't just me who felt that part was weird to throw in. But *shrugs* maaaybe it may make sense later? Or maybe there was something missed from manga->anime adaptation that we don't know about. Bastard!! S2 finally started so been slowly binging. And holy crap idk if it's just me but they threw in way more comedy/4th wall breaking and it takes me back to the days of Dragon Half

    Secret Invasion (Disney+ 2023)

Okay it wasn't just me. Like Mera, didn't hate it. But it felt extremely underwhelming for just 6 episodes. I mean you get some weird facts about Fury's past. A lot of the invasion stuff felt like it was missing pieces for me. Overall it just feels like it was slapped there as a timeline point for future stuff. Not really flushed out to do it justice of a proper spy show let alone Marvel. When it got to the finale episode i was all "wait.....really? Where was the build?"
