I liked it!

YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSS I watched yesterday and it was so lovely and seeing all of Komi's lil quirks and mannerisms animated melted my heart instantly.

aaaaa forgot to mention here but I binge watched all of the first season of Restaurant to Another World not long ago and have been VERY MUCH enjoying the second season! Today's ep resonated with me especially because of the aunt and her niblings! It's just a really chill fun lil laid back series with lil glimpses into a fantasy world and I love it.

OK SO I watched the eps of Platinum End that are out and then just went and binged the manga and unless they radically change the plot I wouldn't advise anyone to bother with it. It is just... not good and the ending is awful. I'll happily sum it up for anyone who's curious or y'all can just look it up but I would label it a stinker lol

Yup, it started kinda like Erased but with a Japanese delinquent flair but it just became a slog pretty quick. It tries to present as a mystery but gives zero actual breadcrumbs or clues, all reveals are "oh well how the fuck should I have known that"

So after binging the anime and catching up on the manga uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh this might not be something I recommend. I'm curious as to where it will go and will likely casually keep up but it starts going all over the place and dragging terribly.

I got a burst of "holy shit I can handle a show off my to-watch list" energy so I am crashing right into Tokyo Revengers. 4 eps in so far and I am hooked! I guess it's not technically out of season because didn't it just finish airing this month? but I know it first started airing earlier this year so whatever.

CAN I JUST SAY THAT IF THEY DON'T MAKE MORE SEASONS OF KAGEKI SHOUJO I'M GOING TO FUCKING RIOT I LOVE THIS SHOW SO MUCH AND ALL THE PERFORMANCES AND THE SPECIAL ENDINGS AND ARGLQAETRFHBQEARFGADFGRAERDF I WANT TO WATCH THEM BECOME STARS BUT THEY DEFINITELY PLAYED IT SAFE WITH HOW THEY WRAPPED IT UP PLEASE GOD GIVE ME MORE Fena was also good.

That's reasonable but after reading accounts from staff about the numbers of pregnant women with devastating effects and outcomes in hospitals I think it's more reasonable to trust the vaccine. The data that supports them getting it is there.

To be clear, I'm not entirely sure what her stance on vaccines are, because she's not someone I would pin as being antivax. She's not been outspoken over it either way, but by the time she would have qualified for vaccine was around the time she found out she was pregnant and I assumed she did not get the vaccine out of concern for that (even though pregnant people can and should get the vaccine) I've had to re-examine my friendships with some people over all this. I haven't had a moment where I snapped at anyone yet but I've come close. It's all exhausting. I'm sorry you had to deal with that.

That is heartbreaking and infuriating. So many people have and will needlessly suffer because of this shit. I haven't shared here yet because it was being kept extremely quiet but we had ANOTHER friend in the hospital with covid until very recently.... and she's heavily pregnant with twins. Not vaccinated. Things looked very grim for a while but it seems like her and the babies have made it out and quite frankly she's the luckiest bitch in the universe. Christ.
