I might give it a go, I used to read the manga pretty faithfully just because it was so weird I wanted to see if it'd ever go anywhere but my god it dragged on forever and I lost interest. I imagine the anime might give me the same feeling, a little taste of weird. Just enough to where I'm like ok that was kinda fun let's move on

Officially got shot #2! I'll share side effects as they come if anyone wants so that y'all know what to expect but I think by now there's enough data for people to know what to expect. It's been about an hour since we got 'em and I don't quiiiiiiiiite feel run down but like... teetering on it? Keep in mind this is how I generally feel after flu shots too so it's pretty normal. We're gonna go out for steak 2 weeks from now once these set in. Still gonna maintain masks and distancing and all that but we can unclench juuuust a bit. Gonna tip real well too.

Second shot tomorrow, apparently! We were told expect a delay but apparently they're back on track!

FRUITS BASKET ZOMBIE LAND SAGA SEASON 2 YAAAAAAAAAAS YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAASSSSSSSSSSSSSS pretty pumped for MHA season 5 but those others are my top two because i CRAVE MORE and with my hero i at least get a fix from the manga every week I'm very tentatively excited for Shaman King but it's one of those things where I'm not gonna let myself get too hyped until it's proved itself. Everything sounds like they're really gonna do it well this time around but still... i done been burned before I still might shit my pants over there being a The World Ends with You anime, honestly. It's been SO FUCKING LONG that I barely remember the full story so I'm waiting to pounce on that but the hype is real. I think my attention span plate will be pretty full with those so I'll wait for more reactions and stuff for other series.

They're either about to cut and cram a LOT in the anime or they will announce a finale movie after the last anime episode (which is what I'm hoping and betting on due to the timing) but who knows

I've had Yuru Camp on my "gotta watch this when I have attention span" list for a while and I'm finally gonna have to do it, you're making me crave cozy Jujutsu Kaisen 18

Kimetsu no Yaiba was pretty overlooked and well into its story before it got its gorgeous anime adaptation and that shot it through the fucking roof and beyond. People latched the fuck onto it because of covid too, i'd be pretty interested to see a study on all the factors that helped make it explode. The humor and character designs really strike a chord with the Japanese audience (and other audiences eat it up too) and Mugen Train was like... the top movie there because 1) no other movies were really out and 2) PEOPLE LOVE THIS SHIT there's so many insane lines of merch being announced, watches, lil matchbox cars ALL ABOARD THE MERCH TRAIN (or the mugen train huehuehuehaugarefd;c fuck) Either way, it ended when it needed to story wise. It wasn't perfect pacing but there was a story and it was told and I really enjoyed it [/ramble no one asked for]
