So I've been sloooowly getting Lee to watch Ranking of Kings and today we hit ep 5 so hopefully we'll pick up the pace watching now that things are really starting to roll with the story! He was way more interested now that things are picking up

Cour 3 should be fairly interesting but yeah.... on the whole the entire finale arc of this series was kinda a mess in the manga and there's some pacing issues for the anime but I can't be mad at that, just because I know the studio is busting their ass to give fans something. I'm still just ready for it to be over.

Different contracts. Anime that gets picked up/produced by Netflix has way different contracts, especially when it comes to voice actors. They actually have union VAs for dubs and translations while the vast majority of other companies who bring these adaptations do not. So, in a sense, Netflix actually does the "right" thing in some regards to this.

damnit i went to try and watch shield hero and i don't remember enough details, i'm gonna have to go do a recap summary read or just rewatch season one watched tomodachi game, i used to keep up with the manga but fell off of it a while back, so i'm hazy on a lot of stuff there but so far it seems like it could be a fun adaptation

watching some more Kotaro and aqerfbaftrfhb i won't do full play by play reacts but i'll smash keys and jot some thoughts as i go ep 5 6 7 8 9 10 That was horribly emotional and really touching and funny. Probably gonna take a peek at the manga (WHEN I'VE RECOVERED A BIT EMOTIONALLY, FUCK) since it's ongoing and hope to see another season or two of this in the future!

YES FUCK YES OH THANK GOD I DUNNO HOW THEY'LL SALVAGE WHAT THEY'VE DONE TO THE PLOT LINES BUT I THINK IT CAN BE DONE I just preordered the Emilico and Kate nendoroid dolls the other day but I hadn't seen this until just now yes yes yes yes yes edit to add I'm stupid as fuck and typed this in a frenzy the second I saw the video thumbnail and now that I've actually watched it I think I know how they're going to mend the story and I'm extra excited. It wasn't like it was impossible to fix but it was still very jarring how they took stuff out and stitched around it to make season 1.
