Super Cub 12 The pain is real

From what I know, it's a combo of Drive to Survive (watched the first season in one day, super good) and then people finding out the races are only like 2 hours with very few commercials (or at least no commercials when they're not under caution for something). I think the thing that impresses me the most is that the cars do actually get close to each other and try to side-draft each other and stuff. I'm used to NASCAR where rubbin' is racin' and you're mostly not lifting for corners all that often and always thought of F1 and IndyCar as racing styles where they can't even nudge each other without the car exploding. One thing about it is that it seems the sport pretty European hierarchical in that the same two or three people/teams win everything and everyone else is kind of competing to be the best of the rest.

I'm probs gonna DVR the next Grand Prix, I've nearly finished watching the first season of Drive to Survive in one go. I'm a lot more impressed by it now than I used to be, especially the helmet and front-wing view footage of how fast they're going and how much of their reflexes they're relying on.

Oh shi, TSN is actually putting the highlights on youtube How about CR7 murdering Coca Cola?

Sonny Boy Ep 1(? It's disjointed so it might also be mash-ups of the first few episodes as an advance preview) I dunno, was waiting for something to happen and then a little bit actually happened but I don't know if gave me the right kind of oomph. The animation was interesting, sometimes super bad and sometimes really good. I think the series debuts in mid-July so hopefully that'll be more interesting

Legit think Webhead would fistfight someone who has both a PC and an Xbox

Super Cub 11 ;_____;

Nintendo won e3 for me. Metroid Dread (here we're worrying about Prime 4 being vaporware and they whip out actual vaporware), Advance Wars, theoretically SMTV but maybe I should play the other 10 SMT games I've bought and haven't touched yet I think objectively, Microsoft probably won e3. "Here's 30 games, 27 will be on Gamepass", a mix of exclusives and third parties, good variety of genres, felt really foundational, like we absolutely know the direction of the Series X and S now.

What out-of-season anime have you watched recently?

Just finished off watching canon Bleach (still gonna watch the filler), including the Fullbringer Arc for the first time. Original Soul Society arc still hype, the Arrancar arc is sometimes hype and sometimes not (and it feels a little scattershot near the end). -
It was super weird because they have access to all these wrestling historians but instead take the word of a North Korea expert who told the North Korean byline of the Rikidozan story.

Is there a youtube channel where I can watch full-game highlights of everything. Soccer in general is the absolute worst sport in the world for stuff like this
-
I'm only interested in a few episodes here and there. So far I've watched Nick Gage (really good) and Collision in Korea (not really that good, got some basic facts wrong), I'm really interested in the FMW episode, and somewhat interested in The Steroid Trial, Bruiser Bedlam and Luna Vachon.

Ayyyyyy PWG's back
-
It's weird because he's never won the Vezina, but he's knocking on the door of the greatest goalies of all time. Only two guys ahead of him in wins: Martin Brodeur, 3 Stanley Cups (same as Fleury), 4 Vezinas, 691 Wins (Definitely not hunting down that one) Patrick Roy, 4 Stanley Cups, 3 Vezinas, 551 Wins (That one's in reach)

Ayyyyy, maybe Carey Price finally gonna go on a Cup run that officializes him as one of the GOATs Speaking of GOATs, I was just looking at the all-time wins list and Fleury is third all-time at 492, what the fuck

So Big Dave's speculation is that AEW's no longer growing in the prime demo and WWE staunched their own pandemic ratings problems with the Thunderdome so they're not slightly worried they're gonna lose spot at the top anymore (I think even if they did, the 60 year-old eastern seaboard name-brand and the 40 year old national name brand are too strong for that to even register), and WWE also recognizes that AEW has a foothold in the business now and there's nothing WWE can do about it, so they've changed back to business-as-usual form. Releasing wrestlers that could be useful to AEW to keep the profit-margins in line for when they go back on the road is a big sign of that. I'm happy as fuck if that means the old days of WWE churn are back
