    2021 NHL Season

I remember seeing a tweet earlier in the season that said "The NHL is just the North Division this year, I don't even know what's happening in the rest" and that's totally true, it's news to me that Florida's doing well at all

I've watched Shaman King and Dynazenon so far, both were okay. I'm giving Shaman King a few more episodes to sell me (since it is an old-school shonen and those would take a bit to get going).

    2021 NHL Season

Awriiight, built ourselves up a nice little team just in time for a pandemic that can take enough wind away from great players to turn them into average ones Though tbh they could cancel the rest of our season. Montreal's got 3 games in hand, a 6 point lead for the last playoff spot and they don't play each other any more this season. Unless Montreal falls of a cliff we're not making the playoffs

Rate my haul - Killer Is Dead - Gunstar Heroes - Crazy Taxi - Comix Zone - Tales of Graces f - Tales of Xillia - Tales of Xillia 2 - Tales of Symphonia + ToS: Dawn of the New World - Tales of Vesperia Defintitive (acks a PS4 game) - NASCAR Heat 3 (also a PS4 game) Our province closed a loophole that Microsoft and Sony were exploiting (didn't have to pay any sales tax on digital sales), so I raided PSN a lot earlier than I wanted to mostly finish off my PS3 collection before that deadline. I still have some strays that are either physical-only or still cheap physically, and the maybe-pile for digital-onlies that are hard to justify but I kinda want'em anyways.

    Completed Games (2021)

    1) God of War (2018/Platinum/98ish%) 2) Marvel's Spider-Man GOTY Edition (Platinum/100%/100%ed DLC) 3) Spyro The Dragon Reignited (Platinum) 4) Assassin's Creed Liberation HD Remastered (Platinum) 5) Spyro Reignited 2: Ripto's Rage (Platinum/Only 100%) 6) Spyro Reignited 3: Year of the Dragon (Platinum/Only 80%) 7) Genshin Impact (100% Trophy List) 8 ) :nes: Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon and the Blade of Light (35ish hours) 9) Mario 3D World (380 Stars/All Normal Stamps/Mario Stamp) 10) Mario 3D World/Bowser's Fury (100 Cat Shinies) 11) :dc: Jet Set Radio (100% Trophy List)\ 12) Dungeons & Dragons - Chronicles of Mystara (100% Trophy List) Tower of Doom was an okay arcade game (I like King of Dragons more as a fantasy arcade beat'em up because it plays smoother). Shadow of Mystara is an effing great arcade beat'em pretty much any way you look at it. Really fun to play, really fun to explore, really fun to use attacks. I primarily liked playing as the Dwarf or the Magic User but the Thief could be pretty fun too. Actually pulled four Ultra Rare trophies from this one. I could understand the "Collect every treasure" Trophy being rare because it involves farming rare drops from bosses and the trophy itself is glitched (it'll pop later randomly, I got it to activate by starting Tower of Doom with the Cleric, which was the game and the character that I 100%ed the list with). The only other four-Ultra-Rare-trophy games I have are Yakuza Kiwami with 5, which was hard-as-fuck, and Shadow of the Colossus with 4 (which isn't Platinum'ed so there's more). D&D Mystara doesn't belong anywhere near that list for difficulty

    Spring Anime 2021

Tokyo Revengers was listed as "Episode 0" so I'm wondering if that was some kind of sped-up preview of a few episodes, because otherwise I stopped watching after two or three minutes because that was way too fast of a plot

Dreamcast sure had a vibe back in the day, (A Sweet/Sweet Soul/Brutha). I didn't like how hard it was consistently do really anything in this game, but I guess Sega didn't bother playing Tony Hawk back in the day. The arcade feel of it was something that did draw me back to it, it always felt do-able if I could get the right control reactions. Got three ultra-rare trophies out of it, so that's cool (People said this one was artificially inflated because it was the first free PS+ game that came with Vita, fine by me).

    NXT/NXT UK General

Probably sucks for WWE since they were primarily using NXT to sabotage the competition, but it'll be better for the wrestling business on the whole that they're on separate days. Though who knows, if the NHL contract comes up and NBC isn't interested any more they might just move it back in not too short of a time

    AOTS Winter 2021

Dr Stone - Stone Wars was probably the most consistently good of anything I watched this season. Close by was JuJutsu Kaisen for the action and characters (still not big on the overall plot) and Yuru Camp for the COMF

At the moment that's how it works. There's a small market for people sharing, trading or buying accounts that have delisted games attached to them like Marvel vs Capcom Origins and Marvel vs Capcom 2.

    Star Trek General

Finished Picard I saw someone else on the internet say some of this, but it's like if you took the worst sensibilities of Voyager and Nemesis, used the JJ Abrams Star Wars dress rehearsal Star Trek as a base, sprinkled in the goofier elements and tip-top-notch CGI of Discovery (holy SHIT, some of that Episode 10 CGI, those space lotuses are what I want my shitflowers to look like), and then you don't actually like TNG but they made you use the TNG stuff so you went "UGH, fine" and out popped Star Trek: Picard. If you excised all the TNG elements, then it's dumb but it's fine in the same way Discovery is dumb but it's fine. They're trying to pull Millennial dorks back in and dangle something Zoomers might get into (which apparently means dumbing it down and having a lot of bare-basic inter-cast drama), but you can't mix Boomer, Gen X, Millennial and Zoomer all together and then shit on the Boomer elements of it (we can forget about Gen X because everyone does anyways ) So my final rating on a 10 scale is a Watch-The-Expanse-Instead/10

    Star Trek General

Anyone still watching Discovery? From an old-head Trekkie perspective, graphics are pretty and sometimes there's a good episode or good element (I really like the casting on Sarek and Spock tbh) and clever usage of concepts, but it's mostly bogged down by poor consistency (apparently there's a lot of backstage drama that's interfering with the original vision for the show), Michael being the most Mary-Sue character ever, continuity flaws (both in keeping with the universe and even in the story itself, like those times ) and how silly Millennial-shit it gets sometimes (Discovery was attacked by giant space sawblades a few episodes ago, that's like TOS space-hippies level of injecting too much of our goofy modern world into this far-future world). I mostly keep up with it just to keep up with whatever Star Trek is up to these days, and also those pretty sfx. (And ye, I've heard of The Orville, I'll probs try to watch eventually but I'm in no rush. I also still need to watch the third reboot movie at some point... and maybe all of Voyager eventually because that's the one I haven't seen all of ). Also they're launching a Picard TV show at some point? TNG is now so old that Picard is retro the same way Kirk was retro when Picard first came onto the scene
