Is Rulkster a sandwch?

I'm not a big fan of this Okada concept. I don't want multi-man matches and gimmick matches becoming the norm in New Japan, though I guess at least with this, it's contained to that one title

Holy shit

The whole series should be the tournament, that's the most interesting part, but then again it sounds like the winner gets to go on to another tournament so it's aight

Acks the 4th ep of God of High School was p. gud so I'll keep up with that one

Orcas eat Giant Squid, so it's fine by me :D

Halo Infinite looks cool as fu tbh. I dunno, I like XBax and what they seem to be doing with next-gen more than Playstation, but I like more of Playstation's exclusives (at least I think I do) and Microsoft always seems to miss out on Japanese games.

It might technically be, but if you go to a restaurant and order a sandwich or ask someone "hey, can you make me a sandwich" and then they ask what you want on it and describe it to them, they'd go "That's a hot dog." So I'm a No even though I'm also a Yes.

I was ready to watch a few matches just to see if they were okay but then Slammiversary straight up killed it for me
-
1. Drew 2. Asuka 3. Bayley 4. Strowman 5. Seth 6. Apollo 7. New Day B1. Ladder match B2. Cesaro B3. No B4. No B5. ?No B1. What will the stipulation be in the WWE Championship match? B2. Who losingly goes through the table in the Tag Team Championship match? B3. Shitty CGI-included… will someone actually "lose an eye"? B4. Will there be any returns during the show? B5. Will any matches be added to the card during the show?

Slammiversary was good as fuck

I've read some of the comments of the guides I've been using and it does sound like they patched out some of the nodes. Others are just so twitchy in requirements that they can be a bitch to unlock (as an example, you can get a Jerry to run interference for you in one part of the game and he'll ultimately die, but there's also a separate node for "Jerry Dies" and it turns out it only counts if you just do nothing and let him die in the situation naturally).

I'm pretty hype for Slammiversary, even if I assume I'm gonna be disappointed by the surprise entrant in the four-way match for the Title (I want EC3, I wanted Rusev but he popped for Covid, I assume Eric Young or James Storm or maybe someone else which isn't bad but isn't super-hype, but I also think Ace Austin is winning the match so it probably doesn't matter at the end of it). Also I absolutely need Johnny Swinger, Chadd 2 Badd and Sex Ferguson together as a six-man tag team Impact and Dynamite are the two wrestling shows I watch almost all of every single week

Xenoblade Chronicles Definitive Chapter 13. Forgot that the Mechonis Field existed (holy shit, dat view of the Bionis and the Fallen Arm when you open the big doors ), music is Metroid Prime as fuck and I love it. Grinding out support conversations in Fire Emblem Awakening and nodes in Detroit: Become Human. I really shouldn't be playing three games like this all at once but I didn't realize Detroit had so many unlockables. I think you have to beat the last chapter like 30ish times to see every bit of it (I've only been unlocking nodes there so far, haven't been playing any other chapter yet).

Xenoblade Chronicles Definitive Up to Chapter 10 or 11 IIRC but haven't played for half a week. It's taken quite awhile to explore the Valak Mountains (I think I played three or four multi-hour sessions and still haven't searched it all yet). Fire Emblem Awakening Grinding out Support Convos (which actually isn't much of a grind, they unlock quickly). Turns out I missed one of the children in a desert paralogue, oh well. I think I may end up playing Detroit: Become Human next. I want to leave room on my PS4 just in case my sister wants to play Crash 4 when it comes out in a few months and that's the game on my hard drive that has the combination of fastest play-time and largest file size (also because there's not enough room to reinstall the Uncharted Collection on it which is one of the games I actually wanted to replay next).

I should probs update these weekly threads at some point

Two or three songs or albums you've been listening to recently Most of what I listened to this week was Pop Smoke's debut/posthumous album Shoot For The Stars, Aim For The Moon. The sound's all right, I haven't focused too much on the lyrics yet because I was mostly gaming while doing it. I do recall too many "boo-thing" songs made specifically for the ladies because it's a studio album (I kinda hate when tough-guy or street rappers do that but that's the game they play to get more sales, if you do tough-guy street shit you get the guys, if you do love-song shit, you get the girls and you get the guys trying to fuck the girls so it should theoretically be a wider audience). I think there was a few lines about "when I die/after I die" which suuuuuuucks because he did die and I seem to recall hearing either a few recycled verses or maybe I've just heard the songs as singles or leaks before or something. I'll probably dive deeper into it this week. Also was hitting up more of A Boogie's Artist 2.0 Deluxe. He's probably my favourite modern/newer artist (might be Yungblud too, because apparently I have the taste of a teenage girl), Artist 2.0 was received in a lukewarm way compared to the previous album and I still like about 3/4s of the songs and most of the songs on the deluxe portion.

I watched the first few minutes of Gibiate and definitely got the "TOO SOON GUYS TOO SOON" vibes from it I guess I won't be continuing with Deca-Dence. I don't really like the setting plot-twist and I don't necessarily have a problem with cutesy art styles (Mahoujin Guru Guru is one of my favourite animes after all) but I don't really like how it mixes with the more serious one. And really how the two worlds seem to mix together. I'm about halfway through Boruto now, I try to watch 7 episodes per week (one per day in theory but I usually do a few at a time). Really digging it now, it's not Naruto and doesn't really possess a lot of Naruto's strengths beyond the cool attacks and the overall world set-up, but after the uneven presentation of the first half (boring arc-good arc-boring arc-good arc), it's starting to hit a good stride where even the anime-canon arc I'm watching right now has some good plot twists and interesting character development in it. It's a little weird because it's adapting the movie, some light novels, and the manga but the anime-only "filler" is actually canon (how I saw it explained was that the manga mostly focuses just on Boruto and a little Sarada, so the primary aim of anime-only arcs is to develop the supporting cast and give them more shine-time, with mixed results). Hope it keeps up the pace.

It's Naito's destino to suffer ;_;
