That weird moment when WWE steals an AEW gimmick, but then goes and does it better

There was one mission with MGS1 Snake where you fight four successive battles in a row, if you die, you restart. First battle is one soldier (easy), second battle is a squad of 9 soldiers, some of whom are cloaked (I could pass it every time, but usually took a lot of damage and there's only one ration available), a third battle with 21 soldiers including 9 Arsenal Tengus (they fucked me up on the regular, there's a stunlock you can get on the Tengus with the coolant but you get grenaded and shot at by the other soldiers), and then a fourth battle with a giant monster soldier where you need to hid behind a box and shoot a fast-ass UFO out of the sky with a stinger missile before the giant slaps the shit out of you. Usually I was so weak if I got to this point that one slap and I was dead. I had one of my more badass runs where I made it through the third stage with about a quarter of my health but I had managed to save my entire ration, so I could take a hit from the giant, recover, and probably take two more hits, giving me lots of leeway to hit that UFO. Confident that this would be the time after the other 10-15 weren't, I dodged the first slaps, whipped out my stinger, fired it, accidentally nicked the box I was hiding behind, and killed myself in the explosion because I forgot to equip the ration. I don't throw controllers but that's about as close as I get

Apparently I hate my life, because I just popped the trophy for completing all VR Missions in MGS2

Apparently MGS3's Platinum can be done in one playthrough on the easiest mode if you have a guide/know what you're doing. Platinum hunting in 2 is a bit ridiculous, but some of the trophies sound harder than they actually are.

I might hit up the HD Collection of that some day. I played the original on PC (arigato web) and dug the story, but never did really get into the Plasmids and RPG stuff in it. 1) One Piece - Pirate Warriors 3 1a) Journey Really I just popped the last two trophies I was missing (encounter 10 players and beat the majority of the game (just the last two levels) with another player. Otherwise I'm currently in VR Mission hell in MGS2, and if I somehow make it through that, there's extreme mode boss battles with collecting dog tags as Raiden that might also stop me in going for the Platinum Trophy

BRO, THAT DYNAMITE EPISODE

Apparently the PS4 costs about $450 to build because supply problems have jacked up the price. Might be a $499 console (if Microsoft wants to compete with them, they can easily undercut them, but I'm not sure Microsoft is looking to compete anymore), which for me, is probably around $750ish with tax. Fuuuuuuuck that Poppin' trophies on MGS2 HD. Going for the platinum but I think I may end up getting stopped by the VR Missions (just from how many there are, apparently there's a few MGS1 Snake levels that are brutally hard) and Extreme Mode Trophies (specifically the boss fights with one-hit-kill powers and the Tengu hallway). I fucking love how stupid this game is on purpose to try to make it clear it's not really happening but that no one got it so they had to take it seriously for 4.

1) One Piece - Pirate Warriors 3 Platinum'd. Modern anime games are pretty good for fans and the Dynasty Warriors system works perfectly with One Piece, like it did with Berserk. I mostly enjoyed it, grinding for the last trophy (which probably accounted for half of my total game time) to pop the Platinum got repetitive but that's what podcasts are for. I like that I have a Platinum Trophy for one of my favourite animes attached to my profile. It got a little weird in the last mission, it looks like they developed the game halfway through the arc going on at the time (it's prominently displayed on the cover) so the end took a not-so-interesting turn and wrapped things up quickly. I'm definitely interested in Pirate Warriors 4, as a decent amount of the early arcs and the villains from them in this game probably could've been jettisoned and other things focused on better. Also the Pirate Warriors 4 cover implies that the unfinished arc and the arc that occurred after that one since PW3 came out is fully represented, and that should be interesting as fuck.

I felt that lariat that Suzuki stayed standing up for in my soul There's a point early in the match where Mox stiffs Suzuki with a forearm and you could see on Suzuki's face that he wasn't expecting it, and then he cracks Mox back and it's fucking ON. Love that shit. I'll get to KENTA/Naito a bit later, but that match feels way bigger than it should be because of the promos they've been cutting on each other. KENTA's become promo-gold, and they're kind of petty mirrors of each other (both left and came back with attitudes, both don't take shit seriously, both use psychological warfare and/or passive aggressive comments to mock their opponents)
