Rumbles itself @Blackjak

He references Machine Gun Kelly quite a bit, outright and subliminally. If that beef was actually real, I wonder why he'd keep giving him the free pub

The Ed Sheeran feature makes Eminem sound like an over 30 white girl hitting up the club.

WWE OSF Pick 'Em 2019 Season - Stage 1 (aka: The Now-Slightly-Longer Season)
Vic Boss replied to Blackjak's topic in Wrestling
- RNG idea for both Rumbles - Final fours for both - NXT entrants? Debuts? Surprise entrants? Maybe pick one for each idea? - First weapon used in the Falls Count Anywhere match Worlds Collide, there's a few "who pins who" questions and maybe interference-based questions -
No Just waiting for playoff time to roll around again

Black Clover 118 Thaaaat fucking INTRO
-
My dad rants at me about them even though he's not a Leafs fan (acks I guess he sorta is, grew up a Habs fan, cheers for the Canucks and then Canadian teams come playoff time). They spent too much on superstar forwards and are apparently so capped out that they don't have enough for a solid d-core (and can't afford anyone coming off the long-term IR).

Vol 40/351-357 Chapter 358 359

Dorohedoro is whacked out, violent as fuck and I can't look away from it. Like usually the first episode of a whacked out anime is whacked out and then the second episode settles in, but this was just as whacked out the second episode as it was the first. Really "what the fuck am I watching?"
-
That was a baller few weeks. Naito, Rush, Sombra/Andrade, La Mascara and I think Marco Corleone (he subbed in when someone got hurt for a little while)

It's mid January and the Canucks are hanging around in a division with no clear runaway leader

I really like that song. Besides rapping really fast or all the clever wordplay, his other strongest suit is the Stan/storytelling formula he's got. On first listen, solid all around, pretty much what you want and expect from Eminem at this stage of his career and life. The Juice Wrld feature was surprising, guys like him don't really seem like Eminem's lane but I guess it's a nice RIP. I liked how he put Young M.A. on the song that addresses his beefs so there's a lot of people gonna be hearing her now.

Kind of wish that was an hour or two longer. Attitude Era stuff gets a bit boring because there's only so many times you can hear the same stories over and over, but Hunter having more personal insight into Vince as a family member makes him looking back on shit like that really interesting

Here's hoping that second weekly show is just Dark

Dorohedoro Ep 1 = What in the absolute fuck

Two episodes in, finally got around to it with the simul-watch buddy Holy shit, that attention to detail and casting

From the Observer, Dave's write-up on Maeda after Fighting Network Rings went out of business To add to it, this was only a few months after Maeda and co returned to New Japan, after they'd left NJPW two years earlier. Early to mid '80s New Japan is super interesting because they basically had a boom period cut right off because almost all their currently relevant and future-star Japanese guys left within a few months of each other.

Bofuri: Itai no wa Iya nano de B?gyoryoku ni Kyokufuri Shitai to Omoimasu/Bofuri: I Hate Being In Pain So I'll Make A Full Defense Build Ep 1 is super cute and super dumb and I love it. It's about a video game newbie playing a VRMMO and she decides to put all her stats in defense and accidentally figures out how to game the same and make herself unkillable, but at the cost of being super weak and super slow.

Re:Zero Recap Version Ep 2 was similar to the first episode, it takes awhile to get to the point but the point is enjoyable. It's a little wordy, like people speak in three or four sentences at a time instead of one or two. The action is fast but feels like it doesn't have a lot of weight (similar to how Black Clover's best action scenes feel). Good plot twists but I'm worried about the next time the main character dies and how much of the same scenario I'd have to see over again.
