I'm taking your advice and using a step-by-step guide for it too, which I probably would've done anyways because ever since Majora's Mask I've hated time-reset mechanics

1. Lost Odyssey 2. Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker HD (Hero Mode) 3. Mega Man 11 (Normal Mode) 3a. Mega Man 11 (Superhero Mode) 4. The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings [Dark Mode] 4a Easy Mode/Roche Path 5 Pokemon Sun 6. Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD 7. Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga 8. Berserk and the Band of the Hawk 9. God of War 1 (Platinum Trophy) 10. DuckTales Remastered 11. God of War II (Platinum Trophy) 12. God of War: Chains of Olympus (Platinum Trophy) 13. Shadow of the Colossus (Trophy Clean-up) 14. Final Fantasy XIII (Platinum Trophy) 15. Final Fantasy XIII-2 (Platinum Trophy) I would liken this to a Final Fantasy version of Assassin's Creed Brotherhood or Revelations. It fixed whatever lingering issues the game it spun off from had (though tbf, AC2 was the big-fixer after AC1 and BR/R was just refining, XIII-2 was the big fixer), it played smoothly but I would say unspectaculary, more of a relaxing video game where you complete missions and collect things like AC games are than necessarily intense (probably my fault for playing on easy). There was still a few intense battles, but even the superboss felt less like he was truly difficult and more that he was just made to deliberately fudge with the battle system, XIII felt more intense overall (likely due to the unpopular feature of restricting growth to artificially keep things difficult). I think the collectible monster system is the reason why, with so many options and possible combinations they would've had to account for enough variance to not make the battle system as specific as XIII was (or maybe I just played Easy). Story I think the was poorly characterized (Noel is not a good character at all, Caius didn't feel grand like Final Fantasy should even though I liked his design), not necessarily written well but does have that "weird energy anime bullshit" going on that I liked about games like Chrono Cross and FF8 where you kinda wanted to read more about what specifically happened. That ending though Good but not great, 98% a step up from XIII. If these games weren't called Final Fantasy, we'd probably look at them as quirky JRPGs that tried something different than Nier rather than the non-MMO black sheep of the family.

It's possible. Apparently this is just a one-off for PAC and the surgery may not necessarily prevent him from being at the show, but MSRA is contagious I think so they probably don't want him rolling around with anyone.

September 14th. Main event is Josh Barnett vs Moxley
-
Ha, they referenced the gorilla-strength bit in Ep 8
-
Moxley's off of All Out with an MSRA infection that requires surgery, PAC's taking his place vs Kenny. Mox should be ready for AEW's TV debut (and more importantly, Josh Barnett's Bloodsport 2)

Guess it's happening, with Keanu, Carrie-Anne and one of the Wachowskis on board

Oh, maybe not tonight, air in a few weeks. Welp, I guess Royal Quest is next.

First Round tonight

I'm super interested in it because one of the things that always bothered me about the ending of the trilogy was that they didn't resolve anything, just came to an armistice/stalemate. But not interested enough to go the theatre to see it

Finally got around to it, and GOD DAMN Nevermind the fight, which had awesome visual perspectives and effects and maximum level budget, but all the little details and reveals

Started Final Fantasy XIII-2. I think I only played the opening area originally and then never touched it again (not because I didn't want to, but just kinda went and did other things). Got to close to the end of the opening area but have been finishing wrestling backlog shit. SMT Strange Journey, the first big boss seemed monstrously hard (I think it was about 5-6 levels higher than my general party when looking at the Demon Fusion charts) but I just debuffed it to hell with an Oni and managed to pull out a win with only one dead party member. The sub-app that prevents in-game death if your main character dies has saved my ass a ridiculous amount of times so far.

I think their week-to-week TV booking hasn't been great in a long time, but it's solid enough that it builds to great Takeovers. It's a missable TV show but must-watch PPVs. I kinda don't see that changing without adding something to the creative team (Ryan Ward plz) They do need to bolster the roster somewhat too. Maybe the guys from the recent newcomers tournament will be enough, or adding in a few more main-roster guys for some star power. I don't think you can run a show that's partly filled with green developmental wrestlers and so-so TV booking if the plan is to go head-to-head with AEW.

I guess so, I never did see ECW TV, but it would make sense since there's rumours that Bully Ray has a lot of power in RoH

That fly swatter mini-game was serious business

I miss the Super Scope and it's 9 million batteries. I had Battleclash and that Mario game on Yoshi-back. Fucking loved how colourful games were in the SNES era

I've never seen any but that is on my list
