Started Final Fantasy XIII-2. I think I only played the opening area originally and then never touched it again (not because I didn't want to, but just kinda went and did other things). Got to close to the end of the opening area but have been finishing wrestling backlog shit. SMT Strange Journey, the first big boss seemed monstrously hard (I think it was about 5-6 levels higher than my general party when looking at the Demon Fusion charts) but I just debuffed it to hell with an Oni and managed to pull out a win with only one dead party member. The sub-app that prevents in-game death if your main character dies has saved my ass a ridiculous amount of times so far.

Raw's pretty good again.

I think their week-to-week TV booking hasn't been great in a long time, but it's solid enough that it builds to great Takeovers. It's a missable TV show but must-watch PPVs. I kinda don't see that changing without adding something to the creative team (Ryan Ward plz) They do need to bolster the roster somewhat too. Maybe the guys from the recent newcomers tournament will be enough, or adding in a few more main-roster guys for some star power. I don't think you can run a show that's partly filled with green developmental wrestlers and so-so TV booking if the plan is to go head-to-head with AEW.

I guess so, I never did see ECW TV, but it would make sense since there's rumours that Bully Ray has a lot of power in RoH

I miss the Super Scope and it's 9 million batteries. I had Battleclash and that Mario game on Yoshi-back. Fucking loved how colourful games were in the SNES era

I don't specifically remember, but we did get an NES at some point, I wanna say as a Christmas present. I'm not 100% positive but I assume the first game I played was Mario Bros/Duck Hunt combo

I forget the last one, but the next one is going to be this season of Krypton. I stopped watching it because there was too much other stuff coming out at the same time, but I'll get back on and finish it off now that it's been cancelled.

I have a pretty massive list of things I want to watch (for instance, I haven't seen a Marvel movie since Phase One finished, I've barely seen any other superhero movies, Daredevil is the only Season 2 of Marvel Netflix I've seen and on and on) but it's one of those things where they're secondary compared to wrestling, anime and video games so I dunno when/if I'll get around to them.

I would probably have to pick Mario. It's the only one where, when it's done right, makes me feel like a little kid again. Odyssey was absolute magic because of that. There's an honorable mention to Donkey Kong Country for the same reason, but they're inconsistent with releases and while I like the DKCR games, they haven't brought back my guy K Rool and the Kremlings.

RoH has an interesting sorta-new format. They maybe show one competitive match per week in its entirety and perhaps a squash match, the rest are clips of matches with significant moments from their recent shows and roving backstage interviews (sorta like what TNA was doing before the regime change). It's still RoH so it's not exactly great, but it's at least a change and them trying to improve their product for once

I'm planning on knocking off 1-3 volumes every Wednesday and Thursday until caught up, so there's def time to join in

The early volumes have uneven and sometimes massive chapter numbers (there's one volume that's just two chapters, both chapters over 100 pages), I think they start evening out later once it becomes a more regularly serialized manga but I haven't gotten there yet
