Sounds like John Oliver roasted WWE pretty badly over their failure to treat wrestlers as employees, right on (Though they did leave out that WWE does pay for everyone's rehabs)

Episode 878 First half of the ep is the full version of the original first chapter w/ redone visuals (maybe? Wasn't there a TV special that already redid the visuals?) including Luffy stabbing himself in the cheek

Titans S1E11/Season End Damn, man

Titans Ep 9 went a bit too far in the edginess in my opinion. I really like the character pacing of the series. It doesn't dwell too long on each character though Raven and Robin as the major story-arc characters do get the most screen-time. It's also SO MUCH a Geoff Johns comic series (co-developed the series and wrote a few episodes), but just being acted out instead of illustrated. @Deimos You still follow any of this stuff?

NYC. Even has its own New Jersey (Bludhaven) Metropolis is New York in the day, Gotham is New York at night. They also have their own ripoff Chicago in the DCU but I've never heard of it

Season 2, 2020

I've only seen Blade 2 and Pacific Rim. Stopped me in my tracks for a moment trying to pick between the two, but I think Blade 2 was awesome all around and I seem to remember Pacific Rim feeling either a little long or that it took too long to get to the point.

I'm Team Harvey on The Dark Knight. I was way more interested in that stuff just because that actually had a story instead of being lulzy Joker randomness (also I got sick of "Why so serious" being a meme really quickly, that definitely plays into it ) Heath Ledger dying, and maybe partially from how dark that performance was, led to people overrating it. If he was still alive, it'd probably be "the best Joker performance" instead of "one of the GOAT movie performances of all time." At some point I'm gonna watch for the first time/rewatch most of the major comic movies so maybe my opinion will change.

I'm hitting up the first episode of Titans because it looks like Doom Patrol is getting some TV airplay on the space channel in Canada and I figured I should probs get on this before it gets too big (made that mistake with Marvel Netflix, I let up and then blinked and suddenly there was 5 more seasons of it). In the first 10 mins it seemed silly and 2edgy4me but then and it turns out it's exactly edgy enough for me

I still have to watch last season and maybe the one before, I forget if I did. I think I did, I remember feeling like the showrunners were like kids whose parents left for the weekend, they were free of GRRM and went nuts doing everything they've ever wanted to do, felt really "off" compared to how the show had flowed before. Almost like fanfiction, except for that thing about the door.
