Spoiler results plz, I'll try to watch that one eventually

Nope, but Darby Allin is from Seattle and Bryan is from Washington State too so there's a natural thing there. Any sane person knows in their soul that it's Punk but Tony Khan's goofed before and I can see ways it can be goofed
-
Punk took "Best in the World" from Danielson in the first place (who used it in RoH). After Christian's hype, I think Tony Khan could actually make that mistake

Self isolation, social distancing, sheltering in place, whatever else you call it
Vic Boss replied to dr. b's topic in General Insanity
Yeah. The under-11s drop everyone by about 10%. Not counting them, even the prairie provinces are hovering in the low-to-mid 70s for 1st doses, and you kind of assume any slowdown on getting the second is because of things being opened back up during summer or the younger demos just haven't been called yet for the second. The only Province/Territory that has over-12s in the 60% range is Nunavat, which collectively has the population of the town I live in. It's still probably too early but we're already inside or close to the initial herd-immunity range (60-70%?) and seem to be on pace to surpass it if it's deemed safe/necessary for young children. Govt stats page btw -

Canada's overall number should reach 70% in the next two or three weeks unless things stall out, and that's without under-11s being able to get them. -
31) Metroid Zero Mission (9:23:12, 100%) 32) Metroid Fusion (07:05:00, 100%) 33) Metroid: Samus Returns (14:35:14, 100%, Normal Mode) And 100%ed Fusion. It was easier to 100% than Zero Mission but more of a hassle to get around in the end-game Except for Other M and Pinball, I think I've played all of them now

31) Metroid Zero Mission (6:03:09, 100%) 32) Metroid Fusion (05:12:00, 61%) 33) Metroid: Samus Returns (14:35:14, 100%, Normal Mode) 100%ed Zero Mission, with assistance from a guide. I used save states on a few of set-ups for the these (like one where you have to light off a bomb and then screw attack multiple times while the bomb wall detonates itself) but I did manage to do them all eventually. Half the problem was just figuring out the proper controls, once I figured out that you just need to press forward on slopes to even yourself out and can press down to recharge it even while running flat, I managed to figure it out. Even managed to beat the last boss only losing two full health tanks eventually. This is also the first time I've gotten an ending in a Metroid with Samus taking off any pieces of her armour

Ayyyyy second shot, when does Ultra Instinct kick in? -
31) Metroid Zero Mission (6:03:09, 71%) 32) Metroid Fusion (05:12:00, 61%) 33) Metroid: Samus Returns (14:35:14, 100%, Normal Mode) Effing great game. This is exactly what I want a Metroid game to be. Searching for collectables and backtracking was rewarding, and I loved the scanning feature meaning not having to parse through a faq at the end to see which collectables I missed. I liked the melee counter mechanic, was surprised how easy it was to die in this game, and still didn't like the boss fight battles as much, though at least the checkpoints made it easy to get back at it and recognize patterns quicker.

My list for this season: One Piece Pokemon Boruto Dragon Quest: Dai no Daibokan Digimon (I think it's the last season) Boku no Hero Academia Slime Kobayashi's Dragon Maid How A Realist Hero Saved The Kingdom (Almost dropped it) Girlfriend to Girlfriend (Almost dropped it) Goddess Dormitory I find it's a pretty weak overall season, combined with feeling a bit less in the mood for generic anime tropes and cliches at the moment. Gonna catch up on anime movies I've been meaning to watch instead before continuing with Bleach filler

I believe both. tfw got the Good Brothers, Andrade, and Danielson back, and almost got Joe back before he swerved (RIP ;_;) Just need AJ now (which I don't think that one's gonna happen) and Nigel to come out of retirement (def won't happen) and I've got all the guys I want back

>Tokyo Dome on the weekend >Ibushi has pneumonia It takes the worst luck in the universe to make Shingo the IWGP Heavyweight Champion, and he might even get a decent reign out of it because of even worse luck

31) Metroid Zero Mission (6:03:09, 71%) 32) Metroid Fusion (05:12:00, 61%) God damn, it felt like I collected 80% of the items, how THE SHIT did it just end up being 61%? I can understand why Metroid fans are a bit split on this one because it's so linear, but I really liked it. I'm a fan of exact mission directives and then side-exploration available (I think they could've allowed a bit more side-exploration). I was mostly having fun with the game up until a few bosses later on (the spider boss, the vine boss, and I think there was one other that really annoyed me). I'd gotten more used to the controls since playing Zero Mission, but some of the combinations were hurting my hands (the end boss with Charge Plasma was definitely activated some arthritis).

What out-of-season anime have you watched recently?
Vic Boss replied to Vic Boss's topic in Anime & Manga
Just watched the Boruto Movie. I kept putting it off because the first scene of the anime involving Kawaki was so well animated that I thought Kawaki stuff was part of the movie but it turns out it had nothing to do with it and I'd passed the part of the anime that told this story a long time ago I think it was okay overall. The anime's additions really fleshed things out a lot more so you actually grew to like Boruto a bit and being disappointed in his actions instead of spending 2/3rds of the movie disliking him. Or Naruto being a neglectful father was driven home a lot more. Or with Sarada's relationship with Sasuke is heavily dealt with instead of just "Oh it's just my silly dad who's technically an exile and I don't even know who he is." Or the continuation of the Ohtsutsuki storyline with more interesting tidbits to it than the movie (and a bridge into the Kawaki stuff, which I think even as a rehash is getting pretty good). The last battle scene was still mostly spectacular though (there's a view "fight with Pain" style animation hiccups). -
Man, splitting up Slime like this has lead me to forgetting who half of the characters are and what all of the politics mean, so the last few episodes have been a lot of me just going "Something's definitely happening here, couldn't tell you what." Probably will have to rewatch this in full some day

He's also to blame for the Rangers being bad for a significant stretch of time and being so-so competitively once they lucked into Lundqvist Do they talk about Lebron and Durant and everyone else snubbing them for other places?

IMPORTANT: The third season of Drive to Survive is juicy as fuck.

31) Metroid Zero Mission (6:03:09, 71%) Big fan of the cutscene additions, new side areas and additions. I find OG NES Metroid unplayable (and really, it felt unplayable once the SNES generation started, I used a FAQ and Save States the one time I did beat it) so something like this as an alternative is great. Jumping felt too finicky (always does for me in Metroid games) and still not a fan of the Missile firing and diagonal aiming controls but I guess there was only so much you could do on the GBA with only four buttons. Didn't bother with 100%ing once I found out that you had to do a lot of complex sparkshine jumping chains.

Economics of it are tricky, I guess. Mecha's not as popular as it used to be and new serious Gundams are expensive to make (everything after IBO was a movie or an ONA with a handful of episodes and a high budget), and they can just make those Gundam Build or Gunpla animes instead with kids playing with Gundam toys and sell more shit that way.

Awriiiight Boruto just hit another pretty good part. Just in time for some more anime-canon/filler

I love that their first show back is a Mystery Vortex

There are elements of the Elite fanbase that I really don't like, and the Jim Ross disrespect is definitely one of them
